Mäch Tower was a Moser's Rides Gravity Tower located in the Oktoberfest section of Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Originally planned to debut in the spring alongside Beste Brezeln und Bier and numerous other alterations to the Oktoberfest hamlet, Mäch Tower faced months of delays throughout the first half of 2011. Ultimately, the attraction did not open to the public until August 18th, 2011.

Mach Tower was typically converted into an observation tower named Nächt Tower for the park's annual holiday event, Christmas Town.

On December 16, 2022 it was announced by the park that Mäch Tower would close on January 8th, 2023. The ride did not operate in it's typical Nächt Tower mode in 2022, in order to have final sendoffs in the normal drop tower mode.

When it debuted, Mäch Tower featured an onboard audio system which would play music throughout the ride's ascent and a seat vibration effect that would trigger immediately before the drop. A POV featuring the on-ride audio can be found below.

Well maybe they could replace it with a mega swing ride rather than convert it......or maybe they could replace it with something like the demon drop at Dorney park. I am on who beleives in amusement park heaven and hell and I can guarantee you mah tower will join Rita in attraction whil bbw is up in attraction heaven

You're joking, right?!

First of all, those are Intamin First Generation freefall rides. They aren't even made anymore.

Second, they have horrible capacity.

Lastly, BGW doesn't work with Intamin.

I did not mean the exact model. I mean a new and improved.
A tower of terror type ride is what I was going for!

Tower of Terror at Disney or Australia's Dreamword?

You won't see the Disney version at any other park and the one is Australia is an Intamin. So that rules out BGW getting something like that.

Besides, there is no room for something like that in Mach Tower's location.

Basically, what I am trying to say is it should get replaced with a different form of a drop ride or a skyscreamer.

There are plenty of reliable non-American companies. Moser just doesn't seem to be one of them (in regards to large drop towers).

Actually I prefer Mazda's, they have that nice sleek look I prefer and they are reliable. But when it comes down to it, no matter where you look you can't discriminate when trying to find the best. The best could be on a little tiny island in the middle of the Arctic Ocean.

Of course they have roads! Didn't you know the people that live there like to drive in style down the frozen waves?

The problem isn't that it's non-American... the problem is that it's Italian. Those guys can't put anything together right.

Italians can do style, not engineering. Although, Moser can't seem to do either...

Basically, if bgw wanted a new drop tower it should be made by someone who has a good record with drop towers. What if they did a lex Luther drop of doom and it drops from all four sides at different times. That would probably increase the riders per hour!

So a second gen Intamin Drop Tower?

Yes I was either thinking that or a maliboomer type drop tower. I believe the ride has three different towers! It even has scream shields!
