They've been saying "in about 2 weeks" everyday for two months now. They should install one of those Marty Moose type recordings there and just save themselves the effort. (although it's nose would have been pummeled to a pulp weeks ago)

Good thing they went with Moser though. I mean, practically all of the Intamin RotoDrop Towers have been delayed 3+ months.

I was told 2-3 weeks about 2 weeks ago, so I am gonna assume nobody standing there during the day knows for sure whats going on, with some of you claiming they are now saying 2 weeks again. Guess I will just wait until I see it open to be able to get excited for it

No no its; MACH TOWER: BGW's $5 dollar lightning rod, constructed with glue and pipes. It's been taking so long because the glue keeps melting. It'll open by winter though. ;)

It is so odd looking to me. I'm so used to a great big carriage on an Intamin style tower or the smaller double, triple and quad S&S towers. I LIKE the fact that it looks so different! Somehow it looks less intimidating than other towers. I think it may fool some folks into riding it that might not normally go on a thrill ride.

Good find. My mom was reading the paper, looked at me, and said "what's the name of that Busch site you post on?" I said the name and she was like "Oh they mentioned it in an article."

Saw this on the facebook page for Busch Gardens and it made me laugh
"I have an idea for a maze at Howl-O-Scream called "The Curse of Mach Tower".
This maze promises to be the scariest maze of all time, and slowly builds up guest expectations as they queue/wait in line. Then, when they reach the front of the queue, they are informed the maze has been delayed."

why is it considered spam if i say "oh bother" because i feel that this whole fiasco with mach tower is being just that- a bother! somebody please explain that to me before I am banned.

We all know it isn't open. There was a great conversation going on and in the middle of it you just posted "oh bother". It's pointless. It may seem minor when you're the only one, but if more people start, it'll become chaos.

PS: It takes a whole lot more than that to be banned.
