Well in that case they must have gotten the new deceleration ramps in as well. Now we just have to hope that nothing else goes wrong.

Eh, honestly at this point I don't care one way or the other. They built up all the hype and now it's just....gone. It's a sad, sad summer for BGW marketers.

They can try and advertise it with Verbolten over the off-season... although rebuilding hype on an existing ride is next to impossible.

i live 10 min from the park had bad thunderstorm about 10am.calling for 50% thunderstorms for like the next 7 days.that tower would work good for a lightning rod haha.could slow down testing?

Do you guys think the MT commercial will resurface in a day or two, or do you think they would just add insult to injury?

I am going with this. I am sure you would agree that there is no way there would reshoot an ad. It is not necessary.

I'll be going next saturday for...the 5th time this season.It disappoints me every day i go NOT seeing mach tower open.i wish they would get it all straight and get it running.

I understand what you're saying, but "hurrying up" after having a small collision in testing isn't the most comforting choice of words to the general public. Even they are beginning to realize that something serious occurred to cause this insane postponement.

Really? I have heard the opposite. The park got a price break on the attraction being it is a prototype and problems may arise.

BGW employees are being asked today to ride Mach Tower this coming Tuesday for about 3 hours. Look for a July 15th opening. No word yet on if a media event is scheduled yet.

I wonder how many employees will be riding on Tuesday. If I still worked there I would not be riding on it.

This was probably mentioned many moons ago, but what is the capacity of the carriage again? Everytime I look at pictures of the carriage I'm just astounded at how bulky and huge it is. (Bulky in a good way.)
