Here's how I understand it: First the park was shipped a bad motor. While they were waiting for a new motor, they continued testing. During testing, the deceleration plates failed. Now they've received the new motor and are still waiting for replacement deceleration plates.

It would appear so, though other forum members claim a mid-July opening date.
All I know is that I'll let some people ride it before me. haha

I was told by a very good source at the park that they were on schedule to open mid-July, hopefully mid-week next week. Don't know anything about the status of the parts situation though. But the "schedule" was for mid-month and that they were on pace for it.
Oh, and I did not solicit this info, it was offered up to me. I didn't push for more.

I doubt next week, but maybe the week after that
Forgot to mention earlier, but MT was doing more testing... this time going half way up the tower

Mach Tower was dropping from the very top throughout the evening today. No spinning though...

Well... like I said, I'm pretty sure they installed those deceleration ramps sunday. There was nothing there last week and new stuff there this week. I wouldn't lift that thing up in the air if those weren't on. What if some guy slipped or something unforeseen happened and they dropped the car by accident?
