Well I got a little update for you guys.
1. The structure for the new shop is complete.
2. The base for Mach Tower is also complete. Only thing thats holding it from vertical construction is the concrete base is still curing.
3.The smoking section building located by the swings is painted green and red
4. the old BBW gift shop and the bumper cars have been painted baby blue and brownish beige.
The person who told me this said that the colors actually don't look bad.

Baby blue is one of the colors in German culture, especially concerning the maypole. Just sayin'
Also, baby blue, possibly a darker shade, but still baby blue is used on the facades of many of the buildings in Oktoberfest, including the Festhaus. I don't quite understand why we're flipping out over this.

Quick question...aren't they building TWO buildings? They keep focusing on the pretzel shop, but supposedly there's a Bier Garden and a small shop(according to the rendering). Anybody else see what I'm talking about?
Also, these are huge structures that are going up around the base. I guess we did get our wish for a structure at the base. Yes, it will probably only feature tons of ribbons, but that is quite the theming structure.

I understand the blue being a color of German culture but were all of the houses and buildings in 19th Century Bavaria painted baby blue? No, I didn't think so.

nice enclosure at the bottom. A big thank you to bgw for adapting to what the fans asked for. Now if only they would let us pick the theme for a HoS maze, they'd be the MOST awesome park. Can't go wrong when you give your peeps what they want.

Nice update! From the look of the update those new steel frames look very close to where the riders are going to be! Are the guest going to have to go up steps to access the ride, or is the ride going to fall down below these steel beams? Don't have your legs out when coming down if so!!:huh:
