RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

I heard that the runway on the thrust stage has been removed already. It seems like they are sparing no time in getting ready for Monster Stomp. I wonder if the temporary walls will be removed on the sides of the stage. Last year, the spiral staircases played a big part in the staging of the show.

Love the cast...they do an amazing job with what they are given. But....I would not be upset if this show did not return.

I just don't get why they changed it. Like I've said before I thought last year's show was off the charts wonderful. But then they watered it down this year so much that (insert metapher/analogy/etc). I also REALLY agree with Luke that the performers are extraordinary. They do an amazing job one way or the other. I just want this show to do more for their careers.

I am thinking the reason they changed the show so much this year was o do with cuts, yes as in a smaller crew less people less money they crowds were also smaller for this show this year on the 20-30 times I seen it. I did like the music but this years storyline not as strong as last years, I think the show will be back next year but will it be with changes again?

Anyone know why London Rocks was taken off of the parks website? The other shows are still there; Celtic Fyre, Roll out the Barrel, ect.

MIU and LR are most likely not on the site yet because they are probably going to start later in the season.

that theater would be a great place for a dark ride...

Not really. In terms of square footage, the Globe Theater is only slightly larger than Boo Blasters on Boo Hill at Kings Dominion, which is really a small children's dark ride. It is also only as large as the Europe in the Air show building, and is significantly less than half the size of DarKastle's show building. None of these comparisons include the necessary space for a queue area, and there isn't much space nearby in Banbury Cross to place one. Given that the Globe is approximately the same size as Europe in the Air's building, if the park wanted to add a new dark ride, it would be wiser to put it in there because the building is already configured to host a ride, and already has a queue.

The scrambler fit nicely in its original building. A stationary flat would work quiet well. Frankly a spider would be amazing in there!

I hope version 3.0 is good! I can't wait to see it! Or for the entire park to open for that matter! I can't wait for Springtime in Busch Gardens! Winter for Poland and France!

So, with Elmo taking over the Glove until May 1, is London Rocks using the time to make major changes?
I hope the 'major changes' include dropping the London, followed by dropping the Rocks, then incorporating the 'play' aspects of Scrooge no More into an aptly named 'Afternoon tea in Banbury'. My thinking here is simple, they tried the exciting name with a boring result. Maybe my completely boring name will give life to an exciting show!

Geesh. That's two posts with the same typo. Bad fingers. Bad.

Autocorrect is your enemy.  Or am I the only one with that problem?

"Afternoon tea in Banbury" sounds kinda fantastic to me, actually. But really more in the form of an actual tea shop with actual tea and scones and stuff.
