RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

Not cast or crew. But I know hard work when I see it and appreciate it. Also, remember, it just opened. You have to give a production time to work it's kinks out.

What do you want us to do? Shut down the forum until 2020? We're criticizing the show as it is now. If it changes, then we will criticize it as it is then.

Also, if I spent 2 hours scribbling random lines on a piece of paper, would you buy it for 1,000 dollars just because I spent a lot of time on it? Everything that takes a long time to make isn't always the best thing in the world.

RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

Saw the show earlier today. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend you don't waste your time. No one in my party liked it a bit, including me. Really, Zachary's videos does the show too much justice. But seriously, don't waste your time, there are so many other good shows in the park that deserve your support. It's looking like we have another Entwined on our hands. It's really just sad.

I'm in Italy right now (the country not Festa) and my wifi is scarce but of the four second snippets I've seen of different parts of the show, I'm intrigued but my first impression was - this should be outside, in RPT, for the summer. Seems flashy and enticing enough.

Pretty sure he's saying he's in the literal country of Italy. I agree, the level of flash and energy in this show is comparable to shows like Kinetics and Imaginique that used to play as nighttime spectaculars in the Royal Palage Theatre. I like that way of thinking!

RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

Okay, just got home from my trip today to the park, the whole ride home my Mother just could not stop talking about how much she was disappointed in the show.

By the way, the theatre was only half-full for the show I went to.

But, I think the best thing to come out of this whole situation, are definitely the beefeaters.:D

RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

Also today the park didn't get as crowded as it has been the past few days. It's the first day I can walk through England without seeing a thousand people.

I was there today...it didn't seem too busy. Longest wait I had was for Le Scoot, and I'd say I was waiting maybe 15-20 minutes. Pretty much walked on to Pompeii. The park was definitely doing a full court press for London Rocks...though that is to be expected.

No, I didn't go see it. I had my two daughters with me and I think they're a little young for it (4 and 1).

RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

It was probably for the better if you didn't take them. There were a couple costume malfunctions when I saw it. Nothing that was extreme, but yeah....

As I understand it, there were some technical difficulties in the late afternoon with a curtain.

Yes. There was a malfunction involving a rope on the curtain. I also understand that all the planned rigging has not been installed yet.

RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

We were there this weekend. We got tickets to 5 different shows. We only made it to one of the shows. My kids like the show...unfortunately. They are 6 and 4. They love to dance. This park is not a hub and spoke design. To me, it was a real pain in the a... To get back to the front of the park to see the show and then go back to enjoy the rest of the park. Also, what was with them forcing the right side of the theater out the main entrance when the entire right side is lined with exits. The left side was allowed out the side exits. When I asked one of the people blocking the exit doors, she asked me to "please mention my comment to guest services". She said they had a lot of people asking the same question.
