RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

The new changes are in place and while they may help people understand the story somewhat, quite a few are unnecessary and ruin a show that I liked a lot. I blame the negative feedback for ruining I show.

Please tell me why a lead singer was moved to the background? He was good where he was at.

I really am upset with quite a few changes and I hope and pray that things get fixed right quick.

The 3 LR shows I've seen have had a very weak lead vocal performance. This would be my guess for relocating to a background role. A big smile doesn't make up for sucking.

Actually, later on he was back to being lead. I'm assuming there must have been casting issues earlier in the day.

That said, most of the changes are voice overs helping guide the story along for you to understand. However, I really hate theme because they seem so awkward since you don't see the person actually there talking you just hear it over the speakers. Also, these break the interpretive work. I enjoyed not having a straight clear storyline because it felt more artistic and I loved being able to make the connections myself. I feel like adding these voice overs were mostly catering to the crowd that didn't want to think to make connections between the scenes.

The good changes I did enjoy were the wedding scene. I love the new blocking of the performers. It makes things look like they are doing something other than just standing still for an extra ten to twenty seconds. I love having the secondary couple come out and criticize the Queens remarks regarding the first scene. I love the new blocking for the initial meeting/proposal scene because you feel like the guys are buddies and the girls are bff's and separating them like that does help the story by having some friends trying to help these two get together, but it's not very in your face.

I noticed some technical difficulties. One of the lights gobo seemed to be off. It was displaying other gobo's instead of the mirror ball effect during the Wedding party scene. Also the video seemed off near the top during the car ride scene.

Loved the effort towards the end to get people involved by having them sway with peace signs. I did like the voice over right before the last scene so you know that it ends with a concert.

I haven't seen any of the changes in person yet, but adding voice overs sounds horrible. Just as I was learning to like the show.

Saw the changed version this afternoon. I don't care for the new voiceovers. I don't think they are added value. And apparently the crazy walrus scene is now written off as a trip to the aquarium.

Also, I noted the entertainment department leadership sitting in the audience.

Please tell me you're serious about this. If so, this is the funniest thing I've read in a long, long time.

The voice over is something like "kids stop fighting or we won't go to the aquarium"

I hate the dialog.

Dialogue generally ruins any theme park show. Take Iceploration for example...

Audience participation is possibly worse.
