Rumor Lego Technic area closing (??)

i have heard from multiple people that the area is very much on the chopping block. they want to get rid of the flats and coaster but leave some of imagination station. ill edit this thread to a project post when permits and more concrete rumors drop but this is just what ive heard.

are we finally getting the lego factory dark ride?

i imagine this is the area we're working with, plus i think they'd bite away at a bit of imagination zone. this is a lot of room

They just put in the lego ferrari build and race.... don't thionk that's going anywhere quite yet. and they are using the imagination zone next to it for seasonal offerings with the lego trick or treat street in there this halloween. but i could see them hitting a lot of that area. Id hope whatever it is uses that peak the mouse is on though. nice view of the lake.
