Just a heads up that means all structural pieces from the sawmill to the station (runout), station, and all pieces from the top of the lift to the first drop (where you see the second team member) will be dismantled and replaced.

Connor posted some pics he found online in the Aquitaine thread and included a link for more pictures where I found this wonderful pic of Le Scoot's first drop with the now removed rise (photographed by Panoramio user Scotch Canadian.)

They still have holes in the side where the old drop used to be incase they need to empty the top half of the flume out.

And so it begins...

Basically, it looks as if they're doing everything they didn't do last off-season. I'm glad they're trying to keep it around for a long time to come with these repairs. Le Scoot=

Thanks Joe for the picture!!!

An old postcard:

"The Log-Flume ride re-creates the thrills and excitement of a French-Canadian logging camp. The flumes were used to transport logs to the sawmills by floating them on a cushion of water. Travelling sixty feet in the air, the flume ride dips and turns at tree-top level, ending with a plunge through a sawmill then a splash into the river below. Photo by: R. Young."

*gasps* That's it! That's what the balloon test was for! Guys, Project 2016 is Le Scoot #2! (Die Scoot?)

You heard it here first.
