It’s quite unfortunate they couldn’t find a way to run all 30 cabins on the line. The part that is difficult about that, however, is for the number of cabins on the line, the trip out interval is decreased. With 18 cabins a cabin is released out of each station every 30 seconds. With 24, that number is dropped to every 24 seconds. The third mode is used only in testing, with all 30 cabins and no guests, at an interval of just 12 seconds. Due to such a short interval it’s not really feasible to run that many easily or efficiently, considering the average guest doesn’t pay attention when it’s time for them to board.

I don't have any info about BGW's leanings when it comes to upcharging for a fundamental part of the park's transportation infrastructure.

But I expect the park to surely stay far away from such a terrible idea if they see it causing vocal negative reactions and financially underperforming vs expectations in Tampa.

Scary thought... but what if they uncharged for special events like Christmas Town when everybody wants to see the lights? Hope not.

Knowing SEAS, they'll throw the upcharge on the Germany to England portion just because they know there are people who will pay to not have to walk down the hill and up the stairs into Scotland.

But then how many of those people would simply walk over to Caribou instead of sirens extra or get in a long line of passholders if that was their choice?

Even those with kids at LoTD can possibly entice them to keep walking to get to Le Scoot on the way over?

They already do. You can ride the Skyride for free for a single leg, but there is a charge to do a round trip at CT. So, to avoid standing in line three times to see the lights, you have to pay an upcharge (which is probably reasonable).
How have I never heard of such an option? I don't think I've ever seen a Christmastown upgrade for the skyride. And what a pain in the ass that would be for ride ops to manage.

For ride ops, one would come in the exit and be boarded as people exit.

So you don't even have to wait in line? How much did this cost?
I do not remember. I’m sure someone does.

So you would have to get off the ride at a station and then get back on the ride through the exit?
No, you enter at the Exit for the first time. At each station, you stay on the ride with the QQ, from what I saw. They just roll that person around to dispatch again.
