I'm not sure I see what you're referring to with construction? I just see a couple highly-themed brown fences that blend in with the atmosphere of the park...looks like some major work going at the England station.

Can also confirm. Saw it running with people yesterday.Yep, can confirm.
I can't from the picture and he is guest not an employee so he has no idea.I'm guessing it's the power or communication line (I'm guessing it's for one of those purposes) and not the actual main cable?
It was actually really strong and there are other cells moving in still this evening. If I'm not mistaken it's an older Von Roll system, no clue how easy it is to get parts for/if the in-house team can quickly work on it.
I'd presume, based on reading Dale Brumfield's post on the defunct skyride at KD plus understanding the cams holding the haul line up probably have to be replaced over time, that the in-house team has some experience lowering and raising/securing the haul line. Of course, I'm also guessing they may not be able to quickly do anything during operating hours, and they probably also don't usually have to deal with whole components getting ripped from a support tower.
Crazy that it wasn't even a particularly big storm compared to the tropical storms and hurricanes that have come through the area that did this...
You can see the haul rope is still under tension and properly threaded through the hold-down sheave and the bull wheel, which is a very good sign that it hasn’t snapped.Snapped this just now from England station. Figured I'd share as if I was curious I'm sure someone else woudld be too. Night mode on camera was responsible for flares.
Doppelmayr took over Von Roll’s lift business and still provides parts and service for these lifts. If I'm not mistaken it's an older Von Roll system, no clue how easy it is to get parts for/if the in-house team can quickly work on it.
So If bgw can still get parts why hasn’t BGT opened theirs in almost two years now?You can see the haul rope is still under tension and properly threaded through the hold-down sheave and the bull wheel, which is a very good sign that it hasn’t snapped.
