It is the one eatery I have never actually eaten at. Very few times has it even been open when I have been at the park, and even so I just think "why go here instead of Marco Polo's (or whatever it used to be called)?"

I feel like the location will always make it suffer. But I have always thought it would do well as a deli, where they can either serve a variety of quick service sandwiches made as is from fresh cut deli meat or they can do a traditional NY Italian deli where sandwiches are cut and made to order. Delis can move people very quickly and aren't complicated or costly for the level of freshness they can offer.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration has La Cucina on the map… might we see it open because of Pantheon?
Eventually, yes. I would think it will likely open before summer peak. There will be a lot of people in the area and they will want to serve then some food.

Wasn’t this place supposed to get an overhaul pre-Covid?

Yep, RIGHT before COVID.

I just hope when Roman Rapids opens they open up that seating area.
The seating area is not included in the fenced off area at the moment. The fence ends right at the corner of the building.

Oh good….a couple weeks ago for food and wine the few tables by the games were all filled but those were fenced off.

They are still blocked by the barrier keeping people away from Roman Rapids but once that opens there is nothing blocking the deck area.
