I just printed a voucher, but you can also pull up the voucher on your phone through the Kings Dominion app.

Has anyone done the free refillable cup with pass option?  Is there a voucher you have to print out or do you just show them your season pass?

I added my cup when I renewed my gold pass. The voucher was attached to my pass so all I had to do was go to one of the drink vendors and tell them I had purchased a cup. They scanned my pass and were able to see that I had a voucher for the season cup (orange). I also printed out my order confirmation just in case because I like to have a paper trail for backup.

So, I guess KD is trying to get pass members entered into an auto-renewal program. I received an email today warning me that I had failed to register on some site that I had never heard of before, and cautioning me that if I don't update the information soon, I will miss the "opportunity" to renew at the "lowest prices of the season" (with an asterisk).

Has anyone else received a similar notification?

Here is a screen shot:

Yeah I was given that option last year when I renewed mine and went ahead and did so as I was told it would guarantee me the early renewal discounts that they offer each year.

Didn't see this posted elsewhere, but Racer 75 has replaced Twisted Timbers for ERT. Kind of a bummer in my opinion.

It looks like next year I will finally be in a position where I am free and able to travel a little more so I upgraded to Platinum when I renewed this year. Will I have to get a new pass issued or will the benefits simply attach to my existing gold pass?

Earlier this season, my old pass was completely invalidated when I changed tiers. It straight up didn’t work and I was told it was because I needed the appropriate physical card.

KD question (on mobile cant find the thread) - if i do KD’s “E Z Pay” program with the 5 or 6 installments, do they charge you a 5.99 or 6.99 service/processing fee each payment? Or just for the first one?

Also is auto renewal a good idea or no

About to get a KD pass!

I believe it's $5.99 for the initial payment and enrollment.

Auto Renewal is good if you know you're not going anywhere or will be nearby another Cedar Fair park in the forseeable future, however the in park benefits might not transfer properly to that new park since you'll still be using a KD Pass. I learned that the hard way with my Plat Pass from Dorney moving down to KD, had to go to GR to properly get my souvenir cup and they wanted to charge me $3 for it.

Awesome. Thank you so much!!

This is appealing... except for the part about driving from Baltimore to KD on a Friday afternoon. Never again! We did that for passholder preview day last year for Twisted Timbers and that drive was absolutely brutal. It appears everybody leaves work early and drives south to Virginia and that stretch on 95 south of DC is bad enough on a regular day....

^^-- rush hour starts at noon.

I'm not sure that event is appealing, if a big turnout the coasters are Apple and TT, not even R75. I like the 10 PM, but you'd probably get more "ERT" today.
