Something to think of with the passes. Because the T&C lets them change this at any time, wouldn’t it be harder to explain how if you got a pass now you got HH this year and not next year as opposed to just cutting it like they did?

A T&C that unilaterally allows without negotiation a material change in terms is going to be hard to enforce. That kind of language is in there so they can make minor changes throughout the season without getting frivolous lawsuits for things such as modifying the calendar a bit or changing shows, not failing to deliver a major advertised event.

The scary thing is this kind of offer change would likely lose in court, including class action suits, and SF's lawyers are well aware of that fact. It comes across as a desperate short term money grab knowing you'll be very likely paying it back in damages later. A company's management makes moves like that when they have nothing to lose - e.g. close to bankruptcy or a hostile takeover.

This is so cool to see for KD's Tricks and Treats event this year:

In the past years, those buildings were setup either along the main path in Planet Snoopy (like in the following attached image). Or last year on the path outside of Firehouse BBQ (which made the path congested during the daytime hours).

So though it's sad Joe Cool's Driving School has been closed all year. Again, transforming the attraction into a little neighborhood for this year's Tricks and Treats event is such an amazing idea.

So it looks as if Uprising props have been scattered across International Street, which knocks down theories that the new Catacombs zone would repurpose the old zone props.

Now I’m definitely more excited to see what the Catacombs looks like.

That's cool to see. I thought the decorations on I-Street have been a little lackluster the past few years (basically just a few pumpkin-scarecrow things and some wood boxes painted like jack o'lanterns), so this is a nice upgrade.

The Haunt website has been updated with the new show (Terror Rising) and a returning show. Big Top Band will also return (this was already slated to return as part of the Black Widow’s Burlesque show, but too many people complained that it got cut so they added it to the website).

I’ve heard that “Chains, Whips, and Terror” is a good summary of what the Terror Rising show will be about.

Well this is a good sign. I don't have a lot of hope that it'll be as good as the Moonmaxx days with Sherri/George/Alex as the star 3, but its better than nothing.

Honestly they should've launched the site with just "Show Information Coming Soon", or even just a "more to be announced," rather than just listing the two shows that exist.

Earlier this season there was discussion on how/if KD would be able to do CornStalkers given the new seating area for Biergarten.

So for anyone curious, a few photos; where they simply took down two of the panels, and rotated them 90 degrees (making what is now a much narrower entry way back to the maze):

Hot take: It shouldn't only be for admissions after 2pm and 1 chaperone per every 10 teens isn't enough.
10 to 1 is needed to accommodate camps, schools, churches, etc that allows youths to visit in larger groups. Lower ratios would make those trips hard or expensive to make work.

I think you can grant exceptions to Group Sales without applying the ratio universally. Group Sales could literally just sell tickets that expressly state they only require 1 chaperone per 10 kids.

If KD wants to make things even more robust, they could make all the kids in attendance as part of Group Sales offerings wear a lanyard identifying the group they're a part of and have Group Sales provide Security with a list of all of the groups in the park on a given day alongside the designated points of contact for each group.

Regardless of how Group Sales admissions are handled though, for normal guests, I sincerely don't believe 1 for every 10 is enough. If I were a 17 year old looking to cause trouble with a bunch of my friends, it wouldn't have been hard at all to find a 21 year old to bring along who definitely would have had zero interest in moderating my behavior.
