RE: Killarney Kommotion (2013 to Present)

Anything worth doing is worth doing right; and in some cases, overdoing. Even if that something is destructive. Hey, at least the bottleneck created by the Komotion Krew hasn't been as bad as Jack and his boys. :p

The awful, sickening moment you've all surely been waiting for is here. Before you watch it though, I have one thing to say: Internet, I'm so, so sorry.
Oh Zachary, you so krazy. No, that's Killarney Kraaaaazzzzeeeee!!!

I don't know what the deal is. Don't y'all know this is show is awesome!! As a matter of fact, it is the BEST show I have seen in three years at BGW.

As a matter of fact, the only problem I see other than ghastly lip-synching & air guitar, is that the scaffolding is standing around the wrong tower on the castle. Don't you usually put those erections around something you are building or fixing? They should relocate about 30 feet to the right. ;)

This would be my reaction right after 'Call Me Maybe' started to play.

I agree with most of you. I think the show would have been fine without the construction workers/equipment. I would enjoy just Irish Rock, like the first song. I think Ireland is probably the hardest country to create a street show for. They need some show with the "magic" feel to it, but without silly dialog like the previous show. I wish they would take things more seriously. To me what they need is magic without too much silliness and "fluffy rainbow junk." Secrets of Castle O'Sullivan and Enchanted Laboratory were the perfect formula in my opinion. Maybe the could drop the street shows there altogether and do a show like those I mentioned in Castle O'Sullivan, even if it were just for Illuminights.

The first part with the Irish music, I liked that.. then "Call Me Maybe"?!? WTH?!?! It went all down hill from there EXCEPT for the Journey song. Gotta love some 80's rock. :p

They couldn't even do the Journey song right...

Busch Gardens will get a strongly worded email about this.(Jk) But seriously that show was actually not bad at the beginning then "Call Me Maybe" came on, and I nearly pooped my pants of disappointment.

Uh remember when we said that instead of firing Scott Gasprich all together we should "promote" him to head of special events. Yea after what I've seen about the whole event all together, I'm fine with firing him all together. He doesn't deserve a job at BGW anymore.

I've been wanting to say this so badly. I just couldn't bring myself out to say it. If I was Carl Lum, I would go and personally beg Kings Dominion to take him.:p
Seriously though, I don't want anybody fired, but they have to really re-structure the Entertainment Department (he's not the only one). I wonder if Phil Raybourn would be qualified. He seems pretty level headed to me, and he wouldn't allow any of this to happen. Just food for thought, not to get anyone in trouble.
