I just passed the new Kalahari on my way to Kings Dominion... Oh. My. God. It is gigantic.
Anyone ever been to a Kalahari before? Considering doing VIP on opening day. If I get an Emerald Suite, should I get VIP All the Way too or just stick with what's included in the room?

I’ve done the Sandusky one a few times, both overnight and as a day pass to the waterpark.
I don’t know about opening day but if you wait until Jan-Feb these places are amazing for the winter blues. One time we went on a snowy day and hung out at the hot tub bar, and it was a good time. I will say sometimes slides stay closed due to reduced staffing, so counter-programming for a slower season may have that trade off.
Just drove past at night and the service doors were open so I had a very good view inside the park. Looks incredible in there. HUGE pools and very tall slides inside the building. Couldn’t get my camera up in time but trust me this will be the new premiere water park of VA
