Joker is, in my opinion, one of the worst placements of a ride in the chain. With the demolition of Aqua Spectacle, they had the opportunity to, for the first time in the park’s history, make Switlik Lake visible from the park entrance, and instead they plopped an out of place DC coaster there.

If it really had to be on the lakefront (should’ve been in Metropolis), why not where the Great Lake Grandstand was? They still get their lakefront coaster, and they also get a better impression upon entry into the park.

is it possible to move a coaster to another area of the park (the Great Lake grandstand would been a perfect place for this ride or maybe movietown where the stunt arena is or maybe golden kingdom)

Yes, the coaster could definitely be moved within the park.

I wouldn't mind seeing it moved to a smaller park like Dorney—a park with more appropriate attendance and prestige vs a future flagship like SFGAdv—but there aren't many of those smaller parks left in the chain to consider.

Keeping it in-park, I think it should obviously go into the DC area (assuming the chain intends to keep the IP). Joker is a good theme for a 4D FreeSpin—its current home is just awful.

if they did move it, maybe demolish the stunt arena and put that coaster here (and maybe the remaining room would be a Harley Quinn ride so they can retheme the Harley Quinn ride back to lost treasure train)

They use that arena for various events throughout the year, would need to rethink a home for those as well.

Hell, just stick it over in Golden Kingdom and duplicate the Tumbili theme. There's enough open flat land over there at this point that could work just fine.
I think they should be moving those fright fest mazes out of golden kingdom (or maybe built a new building in golden kingdom for one fright fest maze), and put a free spin in where jungleland used to be (or maybe take out that unused arena and maybe the old safari discoveries walkthrough part of golden kingdom was)

I would be very, very surprised if we ever see anything of the existing area we know as "Golden Kingdom" ever open to the public again. I full expect the area to be gutted and reopened with a new theme if that geographic space is ever accessible to the public again.

Either way, I'd consider it way, way down on the "area priorities" list, after the Boardwalk refresh, doing something with the Lakefront, and adding some rides to Frontier Adventures/Plaza del Carnival.

Yup, I think anyone expecting the return of the Golden Kingdom theme is going to be disappointed. There are are no rides left standing in the area, and bringing back the theme only will invite "so wait, what ever happened to Kingda Ka??" from every local for years and years. I believe anything new in the former GK space will be themed to Plaza Del Carnival, or potentially Boardwalk depending on the land's final pathing.

Bringing it back to Joker, I would be shocked if they went through the effort to dismantle it and then rebuild the thing somewhere else in the park. They gain much more from shipping it to another struggling park in the chain as a 'brand new' attraction, and using the Joker plot for a large centerpiece deserving of the park. It's never sat right that you walk down main street, and are greeted with an IP themed cloned coaster as the first big eyecatcher.

I'm actually going to disagree with this. I think we will see that area return in some form but probably not for a while. The main reasons I see it coming back is that the adventure theme is incredibly easy to do on a lower budget like Six Flags has. The majority of the materials needed for the theme are much lower than other themes, it's the same reason why western themes are everywhere in regional parks. The other reason is that nostalgia is an incredibly powerful marketing tool. There's a reason BGW has leaned on the Big Bad Wolf nostalgia for two of their more recent attractions, it's incredibly easy to sell. Right now the wound of losing Ka is far too fresh for them to use the nostalgia people have for their own gain. However, once Phantom Spire opens and a few years have passed for the park to get in a much more stable situation I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Golden Kingdom return in some form along with a ride that pays direct tribute to Kingda Ka.

I think the problem with Joker is less about the location and more about terrible execution with the theming and landscaping. The fences and plantings in the queue are honestly some of the ugliest and cheapest feeling areas in the park. I think a repaint/rename along with general aesthetic improvements would go a long way to making it feel more natural along the lakefront, and something I think we're much more likely to see than a full replacement or move to another location.

I think the problem with Joker is the purple track and grey supports. At least there is some green to break it up.
