Here’s the official picture of the balloon test.Well this is a doozy.
I've been told there was a height survey at BGW this morning. Judging by the photo I've seen, the balloon can't have possibly originated from the Festa Field area where the Project Madrid balloon test took place back in 2017. This balloon appears to have been flown from a point on the other side of the Rhine—seemingly somewhere in the vicinity of Festhaus Park.
As for height, it's incredibly hard to estimate. That said, the photo I have shows the balloon notably higher on the skyline than the top of Mach Tower.
I always knew they had something to do with it.Here’s the official picture of the balloon test.

Look, with BG putting in possibly their most expensive coaster ever, I doubt they'll be receiving another within 2 years of it. Nevertheless, I would love to see something done with the area back there. I thought when they got rid of Bitten, that was the sign they were ready to build there again. Whatever it may be, it better be good. That is prime land for a park gridlocked by water.
I'd personally rather B&M to make what DF was supposed to be than a ground up RMC any day.
In five years nobody will be talking any more about RMC than they will about Vekoma, they are just all the rage right now because they innovated in a very obvious way.
I'm curious who will take that crown next...
I'd rather have a GCI terrain hugger along the banks of the Rhine.
If you think falcons fury is any more reliable than Mach tower, I have some news for you...Hmmm...something tall.
Maybe something to replace/complement the breakdown prone Mach Tower. Since we're probably working with Intamin across the river...why not something else from them on this side of the Rhine....
An updated version of Falcon's Fury.
Maybe turn Mach into an observation tower.

2/3 times I go to bgt(monthly) it is suffering some kind of downtime. Sometimes it’s down for a few minutes, other times they can’t get it to go all day.
@me when I try to be a cool cat and slide down that incline to the Festa bridge from Verbolten after it has rained and that stoney material is moistat least falcons fury didnt crash into the ground ... on multiple occasions
Not sure what I think it would be--but assuming it's something very tall, hence the survey, I'm inclined to think it is more likely to relate to something like the above than a coaster. Not to say a theoretical hamlet wouldn't include a coaster, I'm just thinking the tall thing would be some flying/swinging thing.Hmmm...something tall.
