80 seconds is an admirable dispatch time believe it or not... 180-200 is more standard as someone who goes to bgt 3-4 times per monthIdk if someone has answered this, but why does it feel like the operations of Gwazi are always terrible? When I went on Saturday they didn't get a train that didn't less then 80 seconds for dispatch time (At least from when I was there).
Wow, 180 minimum!?!? How does it get like that? Also not consistent, it hit a point where the clock stopped going I forgot the number but it was because a person on their phone that wouldn’t put it away.80 seconds is an admirable dispatch time believe it or not... 180-200 is more standard as someone who goes to bgt 3-4 times per month
That's 299. It occurs pretty frequently with this team, they just aren't motivated/coerced by the park management to do anything about it.it hit a point where the clock stopped going I forgot the number
I've found most (ok the 4) RMC's that I've been on tend to have just in general longer dispatches.Long dispatch times are common on Twisted Timbers too. I think the restraints are often the problem - rows that need to be checked and rechecked. Plus the changing policy of not putting the restraint down yourself.
Is any of that due to IROC standards?Long dispatch times are common on Twisted Timbers too. I think the restraints are often the problem - rows that need to be checked and rechecked. Plus the changing policy of not putting the restraint down yourself.
What is NTAG and TT(is that twisted timbers?). Sorry I’m not good with acronymsCan’t wait to ride this thing Saturday! RMC #3 after NTAG and TT. Basically going to stop in ride and head to Clearwater Beach and then I have to weigh going back and skipping a beach day but Gwazi marathons might be too tempting.
It’s about time I sent them an open items list in September and this ones been outstanding since then.

Outlaw run doesn't even check the seatbelts so its pretty fast operations, but they like to run one train with it... would that be something BGT could try oneday?NTAG is New Texas Giant

Long dispatch times are pretty common with most RMCs and BGT isn't known for having good operations so the crew on Gwazi tends to take much longer than most parks. The operators have to check the restraints twice so that adds to dispatch times. That being said, most RMCs have better operations than Iron Gwazi does.
If I’m not mistaken this is due to the ride having a shockingly easy ability to overshoot the brakes—as in to the point where the train is basically halfway into the transfer. More so when it’s hot and/or wet. As for the seatbelts, probably just SDC policy. I don’t see BGT trying one train ops on Gwazi though—the ride cycle time isn’t exactly short from dispatch to park with one train. Imagine how long the dispatch times would be.Outlaw run doesn't even check the seatbelts so its pretty fast operations, but they like to run one train with it...
