I echo everyone else. Iron Gwazi is fantastic—just don't expect it to be the nonstop slugfest of forces that many RMCs are. It's FAR closer to something like VelociCoaster than something like Wicked Cyclone in my opinion.

The Death Roll is absolutely stunning for the record—easily one of the most disorienting elements I've ever experienced. The 90° stall next to the station and the inverted stall towards the end are both super neat too—a shocking amount of floater through both of those elements.

Also, for anyone worried about the restraints, I found it easier to fit on IG than on either of the two other I-Box coasters I've ridden most recently: Twisted Timbers (second gen RMC trains like IG) and Wicked Cyclone (first gen trains). I often need a push on Timbers, but had no such issues on Iron Gwazi.

Thanks for this excellent review. I look forward to your review of Tumbili.

Now down due to high winds. Sounds like 40 mph wind speed at top of lift hill is the operational cutoff. I refused to give up my spot in line for 45 minutes, but had to pull the rip cord to head to the airport. At least I got a ride in earlier in the day, while also getting to see the ABBA tribute band. Back in a couple weeks, so not a big deal.

Total wait after downtime for wind was about 3 hours. Dispatch es were regularly 120 seconds plus an extra 40 seconds for the transfer sequence. Capacity is baaaad rn.

Looked like dispatch times are supposed to be around 60 secconds, as timer turns red after that point. Today it was around 180 seconds regularly. 20 trains per hour = 480 riders, whereas 60 trains per hour = 1440 riders. Not sure they will ever get it down to 60 seconds with seatbealt and lap bar process, but one area for improvement would be doing more checking with the test seat before the queue.

I didn't know it at the time, but the guy I saw infront of Iron Gwazi earlier (and was staring at him for five minutes trying to figure out if it was the same guy I've seen around BGW) was Zachary. Too funny. He didn't know it was me, probably thought I was just some weird guy looking at him.

Would it have helped if he stuck his hands out to cover his face to see the similarities?

I understand trying to close the line before closing so you aren't still cycling an hour after close, but if they're clearing out the line and the park is still open almost another half hour...? C'mon, many platinum members travelled far for this only for it to be closed three hours in the afternoon.

I'll try again Tuesday morning :/
Sorry for the negativity.

The ride hasn't officially opened. Once March 11, 2022 comes you can expect it adhere to the park's operating hours.
