"We're going to have to wait until February for our chance to ride".

The opening is slated for March. I'm visiting in February. Anyone know how to ride it then?

My guess is that it will have a soft open sometime after President's Day weekend and before the crunch of spring break crowds in mid March. That's why I already have refundable tickets booked for both the last weekend of February as well as the first weekend of March.

*Waiting patiently for the Pantheon version to arrive so I know exactly when to be in Festa Italia*

I feel like the people who aren't passholders are going to complain to the high heavens about it on these days but hey we choose to give SeaWorld money every month or a lot once a year.

Watching that I can’t believe SEAS sat on this ride and just let Universal suck so much attention up for much of the last year. Really strong energy and intensity in that video.

I'm glad I have platinum exclusive ride time that now includes every fun card and pass holder as of march 2020. /s

I was hoping that only allowing platinum would lead to tolerable wait times but who knows now that they seem to be letting everyone on.

Also, the link is allowing 2 tickets for some reason.

Reading the fine print it seems the ticket is also only good for 1 ride and you have to surrender the ticket at the ride or something.

I had to move my trip up for the earlier opening preview, so I now have a trip booked 2/12 - 2/14. Flying into MCO with a stop at SeaWorld on Sat 2/12 to try out IceBreaker. Afterwards, heading down to Tampa for the Iron Gwazi Platinum preview from noon to 6 pm on both 2/13 and 2/14, followed by a flight out of TPA.

Complete Iron Gwazi preview details are posted on the BGT website: https://buschgardens.com/tampa/annual-pass/iron-gwazi-pass-member-preview/

I'm sure the ride is great, probably fantastic, but in those videos everyone wants to be featured, so they're always going to say the biggest things about the ride. If they just said "It was good" they aren't getting in the video.

Also, they are either all employees or actors being paid to film them ride and react. More likely that it is employees though.

Honestly if you filmed me the first time I got off I305, Millenium Force, or some other intense ride, that would be about my reaction. Heck the first time I did an S&S swing, I was figuratively kissing the ground.

Those are actors paid to show enthusiasm for the ride. There are a few agencies based out of Florida that send out casting calls for local actors for the park whenever they need a new promo or commercial to be shot on site.

Media day was yesterday.

Here are videos from some local news stations and media outlets...
