IG was a hot set two days ago. They were filming riders for a new commercial.
My guess is that it will have a soft open sometime after President's Day weekend and before the crunch of spring break crowds in mid March. That's why I already have refundable tickets booked for both the last weekend of February as well as the first weekend of March."We're going to have to wait until February for our chance to ride".
The opening is slated for March. I'm visiting in February. Anyone know how to ride it then?
I feel like the people who aren't passholders are going to complain to the high heavens about it on these days but hey we choose to give SeaWorld money every month or a lot once a year.
I almost replied about this same thing. If they were smart they'd set up an upgrade station right outside the entrance to the ride. And I hope that SEAS parks respond: "You can apply today's admission towards a membership!"
Would be a shit thing to do after 2 years of "you patience means first ride ability"."Ride Pantheon right now! Become a member!"
Boom credit cards get swiped.
I wish SeaWorld Entertainment had any goodwill to make me believe they give a shit about optics to their guests.Would be a shit thing to do after 2 years of "you patience means first ride ability".
Also, they are either all employees or actors being paid to film them ride and react. More likely that it is employees though.I'm sure the ride is great, probably fantastic, but in those videos everyone wants to be featured, so they're always going to say the biggest things about the ride. If they just said "It was good" they aren't getting in the video.
Honestly if you filmed me the first time I got off I305, Millenium Force, or some other intense ride, that would be about my reaction. Heck the first time I did an S&S swing, I was figuratively kissing the ground.I'm sure the ride is great, probably fantastic, but in those videos everyone wants to be featured, so they're always going to say the biggest things about the ride. If they just said "It was good" they aren't getting in the video.
