First is always the programmer, just to quickly flush out any major bugs. If it was Brian from IOE, he was probably doing that all night last night. Then usually the Manufacturing company's owner and high level park staff, as well as some construction workers from the site. I'm guessing programming went ok if RMC (and presumably the park too) is already taking the first few rides. Hopefully this means it will be ready relatively sooner! Brian from IOE told me that it is quite frustrating to insist on making the park personnel wait, as they are always really excited and want to ride first, but the program is not complete, so he (or Ann) always rides first to work out things like lift chain engagements and friction brake timings.

Completely offtopic but I felt like I had to point out that "Brian from IOE" goes very well with "Jake from State Farm".

I love the part where the guy in the first row has his phone out to take a picture...
Would have been hilarious if the operator had stopped the lift and spieled... [Lift ramping down] "Ladies and gentlemen. Loose articles are not permitted on Iron Gwazi. Secure any loose articles or your ride will not continue!"

Maybe just maybe it will be ready for my trip. I didn't expect them to be testing this quickly

I don't think anyone expected it to go this quickly. At this rate, we might see the park start to take over by the end of next week. Maybe an opening in early to mid April. Who knows. They might just open it, or only give a few days notice. To go from incomplete track to human riders in under 48 hours is kinda incredible. Wouldn't be unreasonable for it to open the first weekend in April.

This is going to be coaster of the year, in a very popular year for coasters... Looks like maybe one of the best EVER.

Pantheon just called and wants to fight you on that.

hey if that outer banked turn on pantheon hits like a lot of us think it will it will be very hard to beat

Have you seen IG’s outward banked turn? I think it will be on par and potentially better due to a likely higher speed.

I have an i do agree but with Pantheon's, it looks like it will be sustained longer and there is more outward bend.
I will be riding Pantheon this year so when i do mid July i will have my final verdict but i have no idea when i am getting back to florida.
