I'm guessing they somehow retain Gwazi as part of the new name. Probably something (dumb) fun like Gwa2i or Gwaxi².
Very true... Could be InvadRRRRRRRRRRAs far as names go it could be much worse.
I mean, it does make sense that a "Family Thrill" coaster is one that is a high thrill ride, but allows more of the family on it. A family coaster would be less intense than a thrill ride, but more intense than a kiddie coaster. I seem to recall an interview about InvadR that said BGW was aiming for VB to be a family coaster, but it turned out to be more of a family thrill ride, a tad too intense for small children that don't want to get flung around in the dark, but otherwise could ride it, so they built InvadR as more tame than VB to make that the park family coaster.Iron Gwazi is supposedly going to have a 48" height requirement. The article also contained some insight into how SEAS classifies coasters. Both are Family Thrill coasters because their height requirement is only 48". I had previously thought that it had something to do with how intense the ride was but that was an incorrect assumption. It's a family thrill coaster because most of the family can ride it due to the height requirement but it's also a thrill coaster.
Most height requirements are set by the manufacturer and are not modified by the parks themselves.
In some rare cases, like Hersheypark and the Cedar Fair company, the park chooses a higher height requirement either because of consideration for their own ride lineup or for the sake of their corporate operations standards.
I guess the name could be worse, but really --naming it Iron Gwazi implies that more of the original layout was retained like it was with RMC's earlier work on rides such as Iron Rattler, New Texas Giant, and Medusa Steel Coaster.
The total departure from any recognizable layout from Gwazi really requires that the ride receive a new name.

They really need to hire someone specifically for live stuff. This is ridiculous for a company this size. Will Facebook take this one out too? ?
