This is pretty sad. Fireworks, Il Giardino Magico and a revamped puppet show in Ireland? I think it's barely an event at this point.

Maybe they'd be better served to put on a larger acrobatics/contortionist show in RPT based on Il Giardino Magico and Voila with fireworks directly after. Or just go all out with the street performers and advertise them as part of the Illuminights experience.

Well, I think the glow stand may have come to an end or at least re-utilized. The stand itself has been repainted, and I assume would be used for the Food & Wine Festival for something else. The sign that was used, that had the 'bugs' does have some cosmetic damage to the 'bugs', but everything is basically just sitting around.

I like the fireworks, particularly the music that accompanies them. I will miss the variuos nightly performances. The reduction in the schedule is concerning to me. I really liked the cuckoo clock and the parade.

Illuminights gives us reasons to keep coming back. It was one of the key factors on why we switched from a Fun Card to the annual pass.

Without Illuminights, BG just doesn't have enough to us coming back week after week.

I enjoy the fireworks, it's good chill time before leaving, and the kids don't get in the car all hyped up! I never saw Imaginique, but I hear good things. I think, and I have said this before, bring in something new, not something old. The only exception I have is TiO.

What about all those glow necklaces & stuff? I was in charge of night novelties at KD for 2 years when I worked there! It's a LOT harder to stock all those carts than you think!!! Believe me....And at the end of the night, there's a HUGE pile of cash (like over $10,000 on a busy Sat night) mostly in ones and fives that need to be counted out, bundled & returned to cash control....and then just PRAY TO GOD their count comes back the same as yours.

YES....Illuminights MUST HAVE MORE COWBELL in terms of glow merchandise. And drop the prices of some of these things...Seriously? $10 for a flashy magic wand??

Who thought scaffolding on the Abbey Stone Theatre would be a good idea? Apparently the entertainment department. Is there a way we can burn more of the park's budget so they're unable to fund this stuff? At this point, just cross your fingers that more cuts will come and this stuff gets cancelled too.
