IllumiNights 2013

Here is my new idea for what Busch Gardens should do with Illuminights.

First of all the Food and Wine Festival is slated to continue through July, so why not combine the two and scraped the name illuminights and keep it called The Food and wine FESTIVAL. Continue to have miniature festival type shows for each country during the evening of the festival and a nightly firework show. Just imagine sipping wine on the rhine with Fireworks! I really think that this could work and benefit the park financially and also benefit the Food and Wine Festival. I think it would give a more festival type feel to a great event.

Any thoughts?

They should just get rid of shows and create more street bands. I would rather listen and dance to actual music than listening to pre-recorded music on speakers.

For the record, Oktoberfest will have something, but I definitely wouldn't call it a show.

So is anybody interested in knowing who the lead performer is for the brand new Ireland show?

Dr. Freakenstien will be performing for your enjoyment for Illuminights in Ireland. Also, pyrotechnics are still involved with the show, from what I've heard-ish.

The event starts in less than two weeks. Shouldn't the park, you know, be announcing something? Just how last-minute all of this is blows my mind...

That statement saying ALL countries had something special at those four times is a bit misleading no? Or did I miss something?

And based on the established pattern I expect to hear something announced around July 5th.

Here's the announcement I want to hear:

"By popular demand, Giardino Magico has been expanded for the 2013 Season. We're growing the cast from 2 to 22 performers, and increasing the run time to a full 30 minutes. To accommodate the increased size of this spectacular production, the performance is being relocated to the Royal Palace Theatre in Aquitaine, and renamed Imaginique for absolutely no reason."

When that announcement comes in the mail, I buy a double platinum 2 year pass.
