Boo. Desserts? And while you're at it just a general synopsis of what you ate, so I don't keep posting.

I fully admit it's not for everybody.  Zimmy "saw it's charms and didn't hate it."

There was an audience participation bit.  That wasn't fun...

No I did not. I would not go for the food. It had a certain appeal, and the nurses sang a bit of an omage to a Sondheim number I am rather fond of from "Gypsy," "You Gotta Have A Gimmick"

I did not find the Nurses to be tacky or pure eye candy as I did with Fiends. They were all clearly well trained vocalists, and while they were playing the role of Vegas show girls complete with nasal twang, at certain point their actual voices do come out, and it is rather impressive.

To that point Igor himself shows quite a vocal range. The truth is, while not my cup of tea, this is the first time I have ever seen actual depth of acting or vocals at the park. It is entirely unlike anything else, and it did not seem to have an odor of Scott about it.

I absolutely loved the show, the food was okay, but really nothing interesting. I volunteered was forced to do the crowd participation part by one of the charming nurses, yeah I hope nobody recorded that part... But the show was very enjoyable, I'd definitely recommend it. More enjoyable than BB 2014, IMO.

I really wish that the park would have more of these shows. The size makes them more (I think the word is) intimate, and it didn't even need a massive projection system. The fact that it didn't have any extra fluff in the background meant that all the actors could show off their talent. I want to do this again, but I'm thinking with the lackluster food, it's more of a lunch option.

Last year the Fright Feast was a strange experience. The first time I saw it I really wasn't into it.  Primarily because it wasn't what I thought it was going to be.  I did however try it again and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was clearly in the minority as far as I know, but it had its charms.  That being said, when I heard about Igor's Fright Feast this year, and who was going to be starring, I was highly anticipating getting to experience it.  I wasn't disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear our Igor sing song after song from different movies I have enjoyed growing up.  He was witty, funny and interacted with the audience quite frequently.  There were also three lovely ladies, err, I mean naughty nurses.  They were a pleasure to behold as they sang and danced to various numbers, also interacting with the audience and providing lots of laughs.  Then there was Swampie...a show stopper if there ever was one.  I loved his cheesie jokes, singing and dancing.  The cast worked well together, and made this experience something I would like to see again.

The food was OK.  The carved turkey was surprisingly good I thought, but overall the buffet wasn't anything special.  The desserts were seriously lacking compared to other events I have attended in COS.  Last year, they had many of the HOS offerings from other eateries like Monster Cake, which I really missed. :(
*bonus points for having milk available. :)

I would definitely recommend the show to folks because it really was extremely entertaining, but unless the culinary offerings are improved, especially the desserts, I have a hard time recommending the buffet part of Igor's FRIGHT FEAST; at least for a repeat visit like I usually like to do.

So when they introduce Sherry, Teri, and Mary they say they are from Newport News, Charlottesville, and Va. Beach. I wonder I if they are really local talent? Because I could definitely get behind local talent....

No matter where they are from, i'd get behind any nurse....

Wouldn't it be novel to have a HOS show that didn't somehow involve trashy stripper wannabees? Imagine how interesting it would be to have a discussion that didn't devolve into adolescent innuendos.

Seriously though. Why can't the park offer something with some level of sophistication. Not everyone functions at the level of a 15 year old.
