On the way home, so tired, so wet, ill never go on another rainy day, but i did notice more Actors in unearthed, but was bare in a few areas. A little improvement. Also just lost my voice from screaming... Ugh.
Update for Sunday October 4, 2015
All indoor mazes (Deadline, Catacombs, Bitten, and Unearthed) are OPEN.
All Terror-Tories (Ports of Skull, Ripper Row, Wendigo Woods, Demon Street, and Vampire Point) are OPEN.
Pirate Baargh, Demon DJ, Demon Dancer, Demon Vixens, and Scarlett Photo are OPEN.
All outdoor mazes (Cornered, Cut Throat Cove, and LumberHack) are CLOSED
Open Casket and Scarlett Drinks are CLOSED.
Did Scarlett and Catacombs last night. Rain led to weaker scare zones but both were running great. Catacombs didn't have a single dead corner if the maze. Scarlett has also improved from last weekend. Blacklight room now has a strobe and the card hallway has curtains blocking some of the actors. Jack has an audio track now.
At the park by myself tonight, PM if anyone wants to meet up.
Got handed this note when getting the parking gate
Forgetting something? Seems like Busch forgot about a house, I don't think the vampires would be too happy. Terrortories are open, ripper row, at least.
Edit: All Terrortories are open.
Edit 2: I just walked through Bitten by myself. No other guests in line or in the house. Just me and vampires. It's a bit of a different experience.
Did all four open houses 3 times each tonight. And each one me and my friend went through alone at least once. Except Unearthed, which even when we completely spaced our selves out from the people in front and there was nobody behind me, still managed to catch up to the father/daughter duo in front of us, and the group behind us was like running through the house.
Some changes in Unearthed. there's black curtains at the end of the house. and each icon has their own little voice over. Zombie has a clip of the Lady of the Garden's song playing. Jack has his laughter and some talking. Destiny had something, not sure what it was and Trickster had clown type laughing. Black light hallways has a strobe blacklight, and the first time we went through there was somebody in the hall. (Oh it should be noted that there was more than 2.5 actors in the house tonight.) It was still not up to what I feel it should be. But at least I got to see somebody manning the dig site tent, and one person in the fireplace in the first room.
Deadline was on their game tonight. I got some really good scares in there. And even Vampire Point was doing something. It was a pretty decent rainy evening.
No flooding that I know of. I did slip quite a few times while walking on the hills, but I never fell.
The park was practically empty. If you weren't paying attention where you were going, it would have been very to run into anyone.
I want to just say how much I love the Scarlett theme and character. I'm also happy they didn't go the easy route and making her a sexual character as well. I wish they would have more non-clothing merch with her.
Deac, the paths were slippery like normal, but otherwise most everything was open. Tempesto closed temporarily a few times because of winds. (Can't operate in winds higher than 35mph, according to the ride ops) mach tower and the sky ride were closed from the get go. Otherwise despite the paper everyone got when they came in, saying the terrortories wouldd be closed, when they were open, everything else was normal operations. (Besides the outdoor houses being closed.)
Also open casket was closed, as well as scarlett drinks, but they moved the both for scarlett drinks under CoS and eventually opened it just without the drink girls. So the only bar that was closed was open casket.
Well I guess if you decide not to open a seasonal snack stand, just board it up and pretend that it's a prop of some sort, instead of just moving it off the pathway...?
For anyone that's going to miss the Bacon on a stick, I believe it's available at Demon Drinks now.
