We got stuck behind really, really slow people in two separate mazes last Friday. It was so frustrating: There was no one in front of them at all, but they were just strolling through the maze, stopping and starting at their leisure. It was exactly like being a traffic jam caused by rubberneckers. It makes me wonder how much narcissism adds to the stacking we all hate so much.

The storm is in the Atlantic and is a hurricane coming up the coast..

With back to back weekends of wet weather, does anyone think park management will see just the loss of profits from Howl-O-Scream as a "drop in attendance" equaling a loss and not do as much as this year?

It does have a big affect on Howl-O-Scream as they actors can't get as much experience and they can't get a good sense of what works and what doesn't.

I think with any Haunt type event you have to worry about weather unless your haunt is completely inside(queue line included) because if ppl have to wait outside in bad weather just to get inside it will affect the attendance.

And just imagine those cramped houses with WET people and the smell of dampness. Ugh. If it's as bad as predicted, they will probably close the park due to the hurricane. Rain forecasts are not looking good.

One of my favorite details in Unearthed is found in this picture below. Does that face look familiar to anybody? They re-used the face prosthetics from one of the members of "the pig boy gang". It was a character from an old scare zone called The Beaten Path, which was located in Festhaus park.
I love to see little throwbacks like that. It seems like they even have a few more if you know where to look in this maze.

My hat is off to them for extending the bring a friend but I love to know who thought opening at all today was a good idea.
