Yeah I figured... I mean I would bet that Monster Stomp will be back again since it's only a year old and is very popular, other than that I wonder how much they might change it up! I didn't mind it being very similar this year to last year but I'm definitely hoping for some significant new stuff for next year.

Improvements always seem to come in waves. One year its shows, another houses, and another its scare zones.

So who knows what we will end up with.

I would really like to see midnight closings this year

I don't think attendance justifies midnight closings, but as someone who only can come down for one weekend a year for Howl-O-Scream; I suppose any additional time would be great.

Midnight closings would possibly be better, as it gives people more of a last minute chance to do mazes and shows. Not to mention a slower trickle of traffic out of the park as well. I think it is just a little too costly to keep everything running and paying all their employees more for an extra hour. Hopefully a new ride will rope in some more guests and put some more money in for better events. I mean, MSoRR is a prime example that entertainment can still make good/not painful stupid shows, so who knows! I must be one of the few optimistic users on this site!

that was a joke, but take it as you will.

With all the cuts Seaworld group is making gotta wonder if they will have Howl o screem at all or at least as we have come to know it, I am almost afraid to think of what the park will be like when it reopens in the spring.

Since this is an Ent event, unless they spend all their money on Porno Nights first, it should go off as usual. I would not be surprised if there was nothing new however.

I can see a new show because, well, that always seems to be priority #1 (Night Beat's year to die?), and hopefully a new house (fingers crossed we don't end up with another year of recycled houses).

The real question is how blue the event will be.

Pfft. Normally I'd chime in with some hopeful comments, but I don't see any good happening here.

My Forecast? A Slightly changed Bitten. Catacombs "In hell", If that.

ROAE, Deadline, Generic Pirate Maze. Terrortories Return.

All shows stay for atleast one more year.

^I don't think Disney has much to do with it. Pirates weren't scary before Disney, they aren't scary after Disney.

It's hard to see pirates as scary, when 99% of media that has pirates in it, makes them "charming" and ruins the blood thirsty, cut-throat-ness of a pirate.

Pirates can be scary.

Too soon?

Well, with the park trying to push more adult themes (killers, decapitations, werwolves aggressively rubbing their crotch...) Maybe they will decide to be scary again and bring back the clowns. Pirates would be cool if done right. Problem is, to make pirates scary it has to be R-rated(AKA highlight on the murdering and other lowly activities i dont want to say because it is a very big trigger word.Hint: it begins with R) and lets face it, Busch is way too family friendly to even consider that. If they remove all severed heads from the park because of two complaints to a newspaper...

What I'm trying to say is, pirates just need to go, or they need to be portrayed in a way that will scare people. Sometimes real life things is scarier than monsters that go RAWR...or in this case, ARRRG.
