I was watching the Travel Channel's "Halloween Fright Nights" last night. It featured several theme parks, including Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Tampa. Their was one park on their called Silverwoods located in Idaho. It has a Halloween event called Scarywoods. One of it's attractions is the "zombie express". Basically, you are riding on a train through Scarywoods which infested with zombies. "Military special forces" are on the train to protect you from the zombies. I thought it was pretty cool.
I would love to see something like that at HOS. Provided that they do the "Terror-tories" next year, you could have the train running through them with "monster hunters" aboard. The "monster hunters" would fend off any attacks from vampires, demons, etc.
What do you guys think?

Oh just imagine, actors in military uniform with AK-37s filled with blanks, shooting at the zombies.
I watch a lot of top shot, and I have never heard of an AK-37. I would like to mount an M-1911 to the back!
In an attempt to answer the question (shocking behavior, I know), I think it sounds pretty cool, actually.
That said, I come back to my enduring objection to a haunted train at HOS: logistics.
It always seemed to me that it was very difficult for the actors to scare the passengers, while the train was moving. Generally they would do sort of scary things next to the train or sort of run along side it. I worry that interactions between monsters and hunters would prove even more difficult to implement.
Less important but significantly more annoying: the mobs in the station. The loading area for the "haunted" train at HOS was complete chaos in the past.

It would be cool for train, but I was thinking if you could board the train somewhere and it be like the TRANSYLVANIA XPRESS. Once you passed over the Rhine River tressle have immense fog which would cause train to slow down and have Romanian themed village actors warning to turn back and than if there was a station in Germany you have to unload and go thru a scare zone that led to BITTEN or a Dracula themed castle that way could cut down on cluster mess back in que area. You could have draculas gypsies around at campfires trying to sell you items to ward of evil of the land and you could use guardians of Dracula trying to keep you from trespassing and awaking the evil
At same time could have a van Helsing actor on train that could of volunteered you to help rid Dracula. Kind of like a tour that some haunted attractions do.
Now with the que for trains why not utilize the store and have a kiosk that printed your select boarding time so that only those guest at select departure could use loading area. Just a thought, what do you think?

My only concern for the train the money $$$. This was one of the main reasons they stopped it. It took up a huge chunk of the budget.
Now I am all for the boarding pass style, even during the regular season. Give free passes that give a specific time to be on the train and at a specific station to another specific station.
It would help people be able to plan their day more. You could also let people walk on if there happens to be space. Kind of like how BB you can reserve online or just walk up depending if there is room.
Cool thing is, these passes would rid the turnstile, and they can keep track with the passes they give away. And really theme the passes well too.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago I caught about four or five actors roaming around in front of the structure going from person to person in the gathering crowd asking them if they wanted to join them. I can't remember exactly but I think it was to try to recruit new zombies for their group or it was for you to become their dinner. The one lady in the picture said OK and they took her to the building.

Oh man, I walk into that shop and my nose is happy. However, I prefer to take in the aroma rather than eat any sweets. They just smell so darn good!
