How many years has Ripper Row existed during Howl-O-Scream? Victorian England is one of my favorite settings for Halloween attractions.

I hope the new outdoor zones for Howl-O-Scream this year end up becoming so popular that they make a few comebacks in the future.

I hate to ask as I haven’t looked around much to find out but what is the members preview day for howl o scream this year?

Out of curiosity, is the member day more widespread? Felt like I never heard of a such thing until joining BGW.

SEAS parks have done them for AGES. In fact, they used to be way bigger deals, with massive public announcement events and whatnot. It's not something you often see outside of SEAS though from what I can tell.

Just sucks losing something that has felt like an unwritten expectation in the past, like one of the perks of membership there. Regardless of what competition does.
It wasn't unwritten it was an advertised perk when they started memberships that members would get the first look at Howl-o-scream and Christmas Town.

Thanks. Yea. So to me it doesn’t seem like a huge deal but I understand how it can be annoying.

That feels unreasonably dismissive.

Whether other parks have member days isn't really the point. When BGW first introduced Memberships, exclusive member-only days were highlighted as one of the featured perks of switching. We were all told that there would be member-only days and the only way to access them was to have a membership.

Moreover, as with many other recent issues, current offerings are legitimately compared with established BGW norms. Passholder Previews were standard benefits for years, even before the introduction and codification of the Member days.

People who switched to memberships have every right to be unhappy that an advertised benefit, which actively sold as a central reason to give up their cheaper annual passes, has been quietly removed.
