I honestly find this really trashy.

I sorta agree with this. I'd be comfortable with like an enclosed HOS preview area in the park somewhere, but families come this time of year with expectations that very much do not involve HOS characters.

It sorta is just a trashy, unthoughtful advertising ploy with a complete disregard for the park's main season theme, tone, etc.

There is a good reason why children under thirteen years old are advised by theme parks against attending intense Halloween events. Some kids are easily sensitive. These timid youngsters simply cannot handle a stressful environment.

Side note, out of all the people in line do you think more people would be angered by this vs people who will visit HoS who otherwise wouldn't have? My money is on the former.

Very crazy that they had people in full costume. I’m all for HOS promotion, and like @Rheath said, Ripper Row makes sense, but Meat Market?! On A more positive note, I stepped into Felt and Feathers and saw a whole array of HOS pins. The cashier said they had just put them up today, and I didn’t notice any at any other gift shop. Here’s a picture!
I wanted to buy a bunch, but money doesn’t grow on trees so I settled for the Ripper Row one.

Kinda weird that they are still selling Circo ones, however I belive Circo was the house that the spent the most money on.

Gorgon Gardens in the Italy Gardens also sounds interesting. Greek mythology is always nifty but it is not often used in Halloween attractions. Medusa is one of my favorite mythological monsters. I hope she makes an appearance in this new attraction.
