What houses and scare zones would you like to see return next year? (Houses for me are Inferno, Death Water Bayou) (scare zones for me are (ripper row, Gorgan Gardens, and Scary Tale Road)

Nevermore 2 is/was a surprisingly good house for me. I would definitely enjoy having it return, but, ya know.
My problem with that is that both witch of the woods and Nevermore will probably not return due to the land being used to a new coaster. The spots that I know that can put houses are behind Darkcastle building, and in France.

Solution: Nevermore Chapter 3 relocated to the new event pavilion. (I believe this is an actually good idea and I believe BGW should do it.) Replacing Witch and adding a sixth house back to the event is what I'd like to see next year.

Is there a path to the new event building? Isn’t it across from the rail road tracks.

It is but there is an existing service road that runs to it as it was the old park landscaping area. It's right where the exit for Whitches and Nevermore meet.

If they plan on using it for Santa I am not sure a second house would fit with the workshop.

I was out at Busch Gardens last night and have to say I was seriously underwhelmed.

While I had a great experience on Thursday 2 weeks ago, yesterday it felt like half the scare actors didn't make it in. Almost every house had long stretches of empty corridors or empty rooms.

e.g. the whole first half of Death Water Bayou was completely deserted.

I went through some houses twice in the hope that I caught them on a break the first time around, but it didn't really improve things. Inferno had less actors on my second try while Killarney Diner had significantly more, but most of them seemed to be just sitting in the diner room at the tables, which isn't really adding anything to the scares.

Performance wise, there were a few actors that did a great job, but a lot of the actors seem to be either lacking direction or have been given very ineffective instructions.
A lot of the actors are just standing in fairly open rooms in plain view, maybe sometimes barking at you unexpectedly as you just passed them. IMO that gets old pretty fast and isn't really a scare.

As I understand it, the plain-view actors are supposed to draw attention so another actor can get a scare in from another direction while you're distracted. It seemed that they were missing those extra actors for the scares tho.

Also, some of the costumes are pretty sad. I saw a guy in Death Water Bayou yesterday who's costume apparently consisted of a snake hand puppet while he was standing in plain view.

I second every part of this. I went with a visitor who only gets to BGW 2 or 3 times a year and was a little embarrassed to be taking them given conditions.

this may sound completely crazy, but on top of the already miserable food operations, Squires Grille has closed early these past two nights. this morning the sign said closed at 10 pm and now the place is packed in for night (around 915) and the sign conveniently has been changed to say 8 pm....oh and they opened at 1130 when the sign says 10! I just wanted a drink refill 😭

I have heard that they have been running out of food.
