I wouldn't be surprised what with Into The Woods coming out, Busch didnt try to bring back Deadtime Stories or something of the like. At least as a terror-tory.Perhaps use F&WF-esque shacks to make a village in WR, use a crank ghost style animatronic to make a flying banshee, leprachauns and goblins running around, a witch or two. Hey, maybe we can move the Troll animatronic there, and put something that actually fits the italy area better...what am I thinking, clever theming from Busch?

Hate to post consecutive posts but this idea dawned on me in the form of an advertisement concept .

We open a set of tv screens in front of a large office chair and a desk. Each one is showing different mazes from the past years of Howloscream.

"I have watched you. I have tested you. And now, I will break you."

Basically, the brother of Doctor Freakenstein from Fiends is the true genius in the family. He has been creating disturbing creatures and "experiments" for the guests of Busch Gardens since 1999. Using the fog machines and a special fear-inducing toxin from his private Greenhouse, he has been testing the doses for years, and now, he is ready to unleash his fear toxin on all those who enter Busch gardens after 6 PM.

The entire park would become one big terror-tory, each section playing out to various fears. However, usage of blacklighting and various crazy colors and light fog, the entire park would change before your eyes. at 6PM, the message will say "You are all part of one huge experiment. One of which the likes has never been attempted. As of now, your mind is forfeit.Enjoy your personal hell."

and with a fog pouring into the park, the lights change and the ambience kicks in after the pounding of a heart echoes in your ears.

there would be four mazes encompassing this character, Firstly,

Bitten would become The Mad-House, the home of the eccentric scientist himself. Using the 3D funhouse style "safety-glasses", you see the world as never before.

Root of All Evil would stay the same, but with a tie in to the character.

13: Your Number's Up would become
"The Maze" and begins with a short video, where you are basically told you are now property of Busch Gardens research team and subjected for Phobia Responses, with new and improved scares including animatronics, projections, and high tech scares you encounter
1)Agrizoophobia- Fear of wild animals.2)Arsonphobia- Fear of fire.3)Autophobia- Fear of being alone or of oneself.
a seperation in the maze as you walk through darkness with no sound, no sights(except for a dim lightbulb(s) ,just you.).4)Dromophobia- Fear of crossing streets.(a high tech scare that will make it seem a car is rushing towards you).5)Gephyrophobia or Gephydrophobia or Gephysrophobia- Fear of crossing bridges.(like the heights effect, but more wobbily with creaking noises, and a few floor boards that lower when stepped upon as if about to collapse).6)Hadephobia/Daemonphobia- Fear of hell/demons.(high-tech effect to make it seem an invisible force is rampaging through a excorism. see the coffeehouse prank for Carrie).7)Lilapsophobia- Fear of tornadoes and hurricanes.(simulates being inside a house as a strong storm causes debris to hit the house/windows,)8)Misophobia or Mysophobia- Fear of being contaminated with dirt or germs.(a normal room but made to seem like its an outbreak/biohazard. 9)Ophidiophobia- Fear of snakes. (giant snake animatronic.) 10)Arachnophobia- Fear of spiders(same as #9) 11.) Pediophobia- Fear of dolls.(more in particular marionetter puppets, dolls, dummies, etc.) 12. )Katsaridaphobia- Fear of cockroaches.(a twisting hallway where the walls are glass and outside the walls is hundreds of thousands of cockroaches.also crunchy stuff on the floor you step on.) 13.)Macrophobia- Fear of long waits.included in the line.

Considering the success of Scrooge No More! why don't we retell a classic Horror filled tale? Knowing the power of the Globe Theater once Monster Stomp is done using the theater I would love to see them attempt the classic tale of Dracula.

One problem is, if you dont provide new things, people stop visiting. Its a vicious cycle. New things bring more people. Those new things, when having little to no money is a risk.every business makes them. some pan out, others don't. But that's the game.

I'm a fan of BGW shows but I honestly can't even pretend to believe Howl-O-Scream shows are anywhere near the top of the vast majority of people's reasons for attending the event. I see no harm in brainstorming ideas as Connor has done above (I actually really like the idea if I'm to be completely honest), but when it comes to Howl-O-Scream, I too would much rather see new scarezones/terrortories, houses, etc. well before the park even thinks about another show.

^ This. I know several people who go every year and I talked about MSoRR and were like, "What?" .

People didnt even realize it was a show, they thought the banner was just for the terror-tory. Shows are just a bonus or something people do before HoS to get themselves more in the mood for halloween.Mazes 1st, terror-tories second, shows third.

As cool as that would be, there would be a lot of safety and capacity issues. Plus setting anything "scary" up on the water would be expensive.

The problem I see with a genuine maze is backup. On busy nights they have enough problems getting people in and out without the maze stacking up. With people getting lost, doubling back, et. al it seems to me like it would become a complete and total Charlie Foxtrot.

Welcome to the forum Thrillmaniac :) I think lack of capacity coupled with a desirable attraction would cause it to fail. No matter how good the river scare is, the waiting for it would reek havoc.
