If the Drachen Fire station is being used for houses again and they’ve managed to squeeze in two different house into NewKastle, this poises a very interesting question. The park has announced they are doing seven house locations which brings us down to three previously used locations which includes he queue line of BfE, backstage of RPT, and under EFP. Knowing that BfE is almost guaranteed to be open for the event as it is the headliner attraction for 2018 and many guests will not have had the opportunity to experience it. With the renewal of the Twas’ that Night contract this means if a house was placed in RPT it would need to consist of parts that can easily be put and easily taken down in mere weeks. Whereas the park with the multitude of houses that have to be taken up and taken down they most likely don’t want another one on there hands. With the fact that underneath EFP is a permanent venue away from the elements, have we found our final house location for 2018?

Now that we have essentially determined the final house location we’re poised with another question, what will the theme be? Now obviously I don’t have the slightest clue as it almost sounds like the DF house could be themed to HOS so that’s off the table. Could we see the park create a new theme, or possibly go back to it’s roots? Curse of Pompeii and Revenge of Pompeii we’re extremely similar houses it’s just over the years as the effects wore down Revenge of Pompeii was introduced to breathe some new life into the aging house. Being that Deadline shared a very similar layout and that some of the first scenes were extremely similar just hidden with the addition of white tarp, could we see the event venture back into the ruins of Pompeii?

Edit:
Circo Sinistro - Festa Field
Cornered - Oktoberfest Employee Parking
Demented Dimensions - NewKastle
Frostbite - NewKastle
Lumberhack - Festhaus Field Woods

Unconfirmed
Unknown - Drachen Fire Station
Unknown - Escape from Pompeii

I was just talking to my friends about putting a house back in Drach's queue and since lumberhack would be open, guests would be in that area anyway. I also saw some people fixing one of the bitten archways while riding the train back when the park first opened for the season. So I guess its plausible because I doubt they would close their new "flagship attraction" BFE during their busiest time of the year for a house.
Hehehehe called it?

I hope the park never returns to shared lines. It is HORRIBLE for guest flow and forces you to experience houses you really don't want to go into so you can go through the house you want.

Lumberhack and Bitten coexisted before with separate queues without issue. The only other potential conflict I see is Demented Dimensions and Frostbite. As long as Dimensions enters and exits from the back of the building (which it can do), I don't see why it couldn't use Cornered's original queue area again. Below I've included a rough concept for the house and queue areas of the DarKastle-area houses.

I like the idea of Demented Dimensions entering at the old Cornered entry. It's a spot that is ominous.

I'm also kinda starting to like the stacking of houses back there, making it so they can maybe not have a scare zone back there and spread the scares to the rest of the park some

If "the scare is everywhere" happens, I hope that would alleviate some of those concerns. Pathway scares, not including Terror-tories, could be more confined to dead-zones. There are also party zones that should relieve congestion in Germany and Italy.

Italy is one of the best areas for highly themed Terror-tories since it is nearly a blank slate in Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions, aside from the Roman columns. That said, it might be better for them to make that area startle-free or an unmarked area with actors. Italy has seen horrible crowding in the past- even bad enough to have a maze canceled after one year. I wouldn't be surprised if the park already is considering either Cornered or Lumberhack on the chopping block next year because of this.

With no houses in Ireland, France, and new France. I hope they don't become dead zones.
Keep in mind the park has still not announced the final Terror-tory. Excluding the countries that already have existing Terror-Tories I think with the sixth zone depending on the size this could help alleviate some of the imbalance of scares seen at the moment.

Hamlets without a Terror-Tory
Ireland
Scotland
Jack Hanna’s Wild Reserve
Oktoberfest/Germany
Italy

Obviously, Ireland won’t be the home of a Terror-tory because it is a “party zone” with the inoculation station also because of issues with crowd flow. Scotland could host one as it’s done The Moors in 2009 and Scavengers in 2011 both taking advantage of the darkened setting of Scotland. Italy is a blank canvas having done the statue scare zone in 2006 utilizing the thematic backdrop, Spellbound in 2009 a smaller zone directly after the bridge by Pompeii, and Ports of Skull. Alternatively they could use the area outside of Pompeii to tie into the new maze. Oktoberfest and Germany are a mish mash of Vampire Point as the actors tend to stay in between the two areas to entertain guests in line for Frostbite. All of the countries not said are already hosting a Terror-Tory.

This leaves one more area of the park Jack Hanna’s Wild Reserve which is notoriously known for hosting Jack Hanna’s Werewolf Reserve. A very simplistic scare zone requiring fake Werewolf mannequins, some tombstones tattered in camp netting, and of course fog to envelope the area in mystery. The concept was rather generic, but the way it was pulled of was fairly ingenious. If I was going to put my chips into where the final Terror-Tory was located, I would definitely say Wild Reserve. Either way all will be revealed soon...

The website itself doesn't use the wording "the scare is everywhere", but they do go out of their way to mention that there is going to be much more scares to be found this year... EVERYWHERE so I think the scare is everywhere is much more likely. They have previously used that wording just to sound catchy, but with them saying it in different ways, to me that raises the possibility of it actually happening

I mean I think i would lose my mind if they brought back the Werewolves full swing. I know it's generic, but it was my favorite experience at Howl-O-Scream, just for nostalgia. The scare zone was so much fun to watch with the changed out wolves and ghillie suits, and the house was the first house I ever went through with my dad (his first house) and the werewolf that would jump down on the bungee cords made him nearly pass out, so I am on Team Jacob here
