concerning demented dimensions, how exactly will it fit inside CoDK alongside Frostbite? FB is a very large & long maze, and I didn't know there was more room inside of CoDK for anything else (I know there is still the maintenance area, but I didn't think it was that large). Could someone reference me a picture of the building's floor-plan and perhaps explain how they would adjust FB to allow DD to work alongside it?

If they have gutted Darkastle and removed the track, I'm sure they could rework Frostbite onto one side and Demented Dimensions on the other (Darkastle basically is a big empty space with a wall in the middle for structural support.

Do we have any knowledge on if they gutted it during the offseason? If so we can expect FrostBite to be very different, perhaps more themed to what they wanted instead of piggybacking so much off of DarKastle that FrostBite almost seemed like a last minute addition

there was a destruction permit filed for the physical props inside DK a few weeks ago; I know it is here on the forum somewhere but I can't think of where off the top of my head.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I was under the impression that they didn’t completely strike frostbite for Santa’s workshop, that there was enough room for them both to be up or (mostly up) at the same time. If this is the case, they can just strike Santa’s workshop and move in demented dimensions, right?

I got a floorplan for the ride and decided to map out FrostBite based off of different walkthrough videos I could find. Pink represents the screens in the actual ride, the yellow with red arrows represents the path, adn the green circled areas are the areas I couldn't determine exactly from video.

The first green circle area isn't a big deal, doesn't change much. The second is where the ice walls come in within FrostBite, and make a difference as to where the path goes within the ride building. The only thing I could pick up on from video is there is a portion right before guests emerge by the second set of trees that has a large curved wall, which looks like the back of on of the two finale screens. I made a dashed line of general guess as to where the path travels. Regardless, it appears FrostBite in its last year state utilized almost all of the ride layout leaving just the interior of the building, the maintenance area (not pictured but it is in the top left corner and is marked (entrance and exit) by the two circles on the track), and possibly the bottom left corner track.

I personally do not believe there is near enough space for a full maze in this building without some rerouting done to FrostBite. I also don't see how they did Santa's Workshop without moving some stuff, but then again I have no idea how much space Santa's Workshop utilized.

Sorry for my image quality, but I find the layout a bit easier to understand upside down. First, they cut past the Music Room and Dining Room. Once inside the fireplace, they skipped right to the end through a backstage area. That was the long icy tunnel portion.

The red boxes are the areas that were skipped over. The sleighs were stored in the top box. Just as a reference point, I numbered the screens shown in the maze to help people better understand.

As it has been said above, there will be plenty of room for them to do whatever they want after DarKastle's scenery is removed.

Here is the permit, which was posted in the DK thread.

He couldn’t see the company on it, and a shipment from BGT could be a possibility but that would be super early, no?

Here is a photo taken by @MadridBot. It shows some trailers by Drach’s queue if that’s what you are referring to @horsesboy
In part yes there are three or four trailers and a large bucket lift aa seen in this picture. But today there were also a series of pickups and gator vehicles by where the entrance to bitten use to be. There were also maybe a dozen or more people working around the ramp area though I could not tell on what.

Take this with a grain of salt, but according to a couple sources, “scare is everywhere” is included on the employee form. I’m going to try my hardest to find solid evidence of this claim.

Are you able to see the form itself? I'm curious what context they said that in

From what BGT teased on Twitter today, it looks like both parks will share the same skull icon in the logo. I would not be surprised to see Tampa borrow some houses from Williamsburg this year. I'm still expecting BGW to borrow maybe one more house from BGT. Both have been trying to save money recently.

Interesting, considering it is not Tampa's Howl 20th birthday. Maybe they are carrying over the new era theme over into next year as well, since next year is Tampa's 20. Unless they sell out and decide to market this year as their 20. Maybe a classic from Tampa could end up at BGW if they are pushing the 20 years not just for BGW but BGT as well, and it'll become like a swip swap?

I modified the first post in this thread with a fully updated listing of everything coming to Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Howl-O-Scream in 2018. In addition to the names of each attraction/show/etc, I have also included locations and debut years for each. If there are any other bits of information you'd find useful in the first post listing, let me know and I'll consider adding them.

While I do hope you find the updates to the first post useful, I do want to share something I've been told that is not yet in that listing...

According to a reliable source with knowledge of the park's Howl-O-Scream 2018 plans, Drachen Fire's station building (the old Bitten location) will be utilized for one of this year's brand new houses. While I have been given some more detailed information about the house, I've been asked not to share it publicly yet. In light of that, if anyone has any information about this project, I'd love to chat about it. I'll say this though: The house sounds likely please many people reading this post... ?
