They could just make it look like it makes a difference on which door you choose. It could just be a cheap mental game. That's essentially what they did at the end of Masquerage. They had two pathways to choose from. Both pathways were identical, but they pretended that which path you chose made a difference.

It created tension in decision making, and made the groups smaller for a brief moment. If they plan this well, the actors will be able to direct timid people on the sly. That should eliminate backup and create a creepier atmosphere.

Edit: Since we have pretty much established that this voting system was at least partially rigged, they should have this already planned out.

Heard the chairperson for the DNC put together this poll.

My guess is that it will be like Haunt does the skeleton key where there are two paths with two different experiences that meet up.

Not a totally new idea, as COS said. MasqueRage had this feature. They just had two paths near the end. I don't recall having a choice. A cloaked figure would close one path to lead you through the other path. Therefore, no stacking. They liked to split groups up, if they could tell you were together. Tidbit of info, they also did not allow you to carry umbrellas of any kind through that maze.

I vividly remember being split from my friend in Masquerage. The room had a lot of mirrors if I'm remembering correctly? Perhaps the "doors" will be more of an optical illusion?

I do remember the last room in Masquerage being VERY disorienting and being guided by one of the masked figures to a door.

I remember Masquerage, and it probably was one of my favorite mazes of HOS. But like people have said the cloaked figure chose the path for you. This would prevent the stacking issue, but if each person has to option to choose it will be a stacking disaster.

Root of all Evil also had this in which there was two paths and a scare actor would close off one of them splitting your party.

I'm really interested to see what happens with this house. Since they removed the format of tent path tent path and so on and so on they now have a blank canvas and they haven't had that since 2008. Clowns have always been a favorite scare tatic in Williamsburg and I'm hoping Circo Cinistro and Sideshow Square will be an example of how far the event has come since then.

I feel like there were mirrors involved in the final room of Masquerage, but I really can't remember for sure. Mirrors could add an awesome effect, but I think stacking could potentially be worse, especially if someone gets very disoriented.

I saw 3 white trailers sitting in the england parking lot? I know europe in the air closes soon for the setup of unearthed.

Can't we put this in a coffin already?

This more recent digging in Festhaus Park may or may not have anything to do with Howl-O-Scream, but it's interesting nonetheless. Perhaps part of this could be for the rumored expansion to Lumberhack and its queue. I would recommend zooming in to the place of interest. I just didn't want to ruin the photo by cropping it.

I thought it had been previously established that it had something to do with the work on Invader. I think I remember hearing that they were using it as a dump site fore extra dirt from the project.

I'd be careful saying that things have been "established." Without specific evidence, most of what is said here is opinion, possibly well-informed or logically-deduced, but opinion, nonetheless.

I've been hearing rumors that Sideshow Square will utilize some of the Holiday Hills billboards. I'm interested to see how they transition, but I hope it doesn't look too much like Holiday Hills. Festa Italia is like a blank slate. They should use it as such to create amazing new offerings.

Billboards are confirmed as permits have been filled to use them during HOS
