Whenever I went by the demon DJ last year, all I saw was a bunch of adults holding a drink and looking up at him in complete awe.
Or my Parents talking about how "The fog here smells like spices." I swear it was like being in Yankee candle at Busch Gardens.

That is precisely what BGW wants you thinking about anyway: the booze. All of this haunt stuff is tedious! Why do people insist they waste money on scares and theming, when they could be creating new bars? Maybe what they really need is a second DJ! And another fun show! Guests are so annoying with their obsession with monsters and stuff!
I wouldn't mind a DJ-like show going on somewhere else in the park, on the condition the fake DJ is replaced with a live band, but that won't happen.Nicole said:

It does break the mood as you enter "Paris." The path from the Wild Reserve is quiet and creepy, and Catacombs is scary and dark. Suddenly you blasted with a loud dance party. The only aspect that seems appropriate is how chaotic it feels.
No one has been able to explain just how a dance/DJ thing is "evil", "demonic", or "scary".
The problem is you are taking it as it is and not how it apparently was intended to be.
As I've said before the theme can certainly work. But in order for it to work, they need a proper DJ with some great song selection skills and knowledge of spooky music and they need some more props inside the area to convey that this is a particularly evil "Demon" Celebration where they are terrorizing people.
The area is weak because the execution is weak, not because the idea itself just doesn't work.

I can not imagine any situation where a DJ would enhance a "scary" experience. Proper music? Without a doubt. Any presentation where a DJ is there comes off as cartoon-y. I imagine either a DJ spinning on some instrument in something similar to Baron Munchhausen or History of the World: Part One or him saying something along the lines of, "I shall drop these sick-ass beats while you torment the mortals".
edit: As far as chaos goes...ehhhh I don't know. I can certainly see that, but there are much more "demonic" genres of music out there. Not to mention that techno is rather formulaic.

The monster's in Ireland are showing there age, missing fingers, ripped clothing, hat's ripped, clothing faded, and foam showing in the facial features. . .
There not showing there age at all. It's just dumb people like to touch, pull, and other things that ruin them. The monsters won't touch you so please don't touch them!
