I saw the post yesterday too, and clicked the link. If you're correct then this would be an awesome way to get everyone's attention. If you click through and look at the "pictures" she took you can see something that looks wendigoish but is obviously planted in the picture. This would go down in the books as a great PR stunt. Let's hope we don't get let down once the park opens for HOS.

My hopes are so high right now, but it seems like they're copying an episode of supernatural a little bit. Still, this is the first time they've done something like this. It's so obvious what it is, but I doubt many people outside this forum have noticed, because how many people scroll through other people's posts on the park's wall? We should definitely keep an eye on this; it could be the event's redeeming factor.

Oh wow, I saw those posts and just thought it was a tourist being stupid. That's actually really cool if this is a PR stunt.

I did too lol. Also the other poster's name is "Virginia Park" and the only like on the photo was from the person who posted the story of her friend disappearing and the thing in the woods. The more I look into it and read posts on here the more I see how much effort the PR dept is putting into this. Again let's hope it's worth the hype.

To be fair, that episode of Supernatural followed a rather generic plot line to begin with.

I haven't taken a look at the facebook page for the park in forever, but now I just might follow it. I love the creepypasta vibe they got going on. I'm just hoping the hype from this is all worth it in the end. You can do this BG! I believe in you!

Just looked at the Facebook page and there is a new post from a M.T. Tombs.

I'm too lazy to screenshot:
"I booked a coaster tour this week to see if I could get into the park early to see if I could see any evidence of anything weird. I wasn’t disappointed. As we were leaving Scotland I snapped this pic of a painter covering up some writing on the stables wall. Amy Malone check it out-they’re definitely hiding something."

Also, I feel dumb. M.T Tombs and Virginia Parks are easy but I just now got that Amy Malone is "I am Alone"

Okay, so I'm not sure what this is hinting at. Scotland isn't hosting any any scares this year so I think this vital campaign is might be covering more than Wendigo woods. I think we might see more references to other things. It's too early to say for sure.

These posts better be worth the hype.. I'm waaaaaay too excited and it's only the beginning of August. I hope this year is SCARY ( I doubt it, but I can still wish right? :p) I'm a big fan of atmosphere so I have big hopes for this. *crosses fingers*

Note it looks like "Don't Listen" is written in blood with red hand prints as well.

Maybe the windego is the overall theme for HOS this year?

I was thinking this after reading over the blog. I did notice one tag at the end of each post "What's in the Woods?" Maybe this will be the tag line for HOS this year which would tie into what you're saying about it possibly being the overall theme. Fingers crossed they put this much effort into HOS this year.

Am I the only person hoping to see a wendigo spotting over by Verbolten? Back on topic do we think we could see anything else other than Terror-tory,Show, and new dining experience?

I went over to the stables and took a picture and posted this under the post.

did you notice the white paint on the ground? Looks like the painted over "claw marks".
