Regardless of the exact wording, like Applesause said, Scott says this stuff every year. You know what the park's last full-park makeover was? "The Scare is Everywhere" We all saw how that went. I'm sure the event will be pretty solid across the board like normal but I highly doubt they have some revolutionary idea that will put a stake through their competition.

I'm giving them hope because of what happened last year... They can't have it open like it did last year. They gotta take it up a notch... the GP really blasted them for lack of decorations even when they "improved".

Cursed (the witch one, I think it was "cursed") had a foggy dark part. It resulted in people just running into each other and feeling around trying to find the way out.

^ The room with the strobes? I had to literally feel my way through that room.

Caverns of Darkness was also extremely dark- especially if you went through during the day when your eyes weren't adjusted.

Think of it this way, if we have this agreeable standard that they don't mean what the say, and thus have a lower expectation, means when they finally do it right, and "transform the park like we've never seen it before." We'll be shocked and amazed, and wanting to give them pats on the back.

...Until you know, we find something we don't like about it, and complain about it until the cows come home.

I wasn't at HOS when they did "Cursed" or "Cavern of Darkness". I hope they do come up with another pitch dark house for this year.

They also had fear of darkness in 13 where you entered a pitch black room and had to walk around searching for the next room.

It wasn't too difficult to find the next room in 13. The doorway was rather bright when people walked through it.

The 13 room doesn't count. I want a house of total darkness where you have find your own way out with no help from any staff.

One major change taking place for Howl-o-Scream this year that will help transform 'the villages and Busch Gardens like you have never seen them before'.

All team members will be sporting black pants with a black bowling shirt with orange stripe. So team members will fade into the dark with the exception fo the orange stripe. I mentioned this before in the new shirts thread but since it is Howl-o-Scream related, thought I might bring it here for discussion.
