I like England so far, but what is that one building? France looks like a hotweels commercial. :s Ireland looks cool, as always. The San Marco bridge looks the best out of everywhere, imo. San Marco/ DGoI, looks cool with pirate stuff, but are they going to take the vines off the pillars in DGoI? New France looks cool, as always. Wild Reserve looks cool also. Is the photo-op in Rhinefeld supposed to be a church? It looks cool though. Scotland looks cool as well.

A question. I'm sure this has already been mentioned and I don't feel like going through 122 pages , but are there only going to be path scares only in the Terror-tories, or will there be scares in Terror-tories and regular places?

To be perfectly honest, especially after hearing Scott talk about them, I don't expect any scares outside of the houses. I had sorta been getting that impression from people on the inside who I had been talking to, but was being rather cautious about coming out and saying it because it seemed like a rather insane idea. That said, everything Scott described yesterday indicated to me that these are actors with scripted parts- not scareactors. As far as I can tell, path scares are dead.

In fact, if you listen to Scott's presentation, you'll find that he never really indicates that the event is supposed to be scary. In past years he has gotten up on stage and preached about how that year will be terrifying and parents should keep their kids away at all costs. There was none of that this year. He never even listed the houses that are featured at this year's event. His actual intentions for the event are becoming more and more clear the longer he controls it.

Interesting question. Everything talks about scares being in the Terror-tories, but I don't recall seeing anything saying explicitly that there would be no paths scares elsewhere.

Regardless, I think I'd rather find out at HOS. Part of the fun is the fear of the unknown and being startled.

The FAQ implies path scares, at least to me. And as I have said before, cool until PROVEN lame.

They should make the terror-torry idea all year long. Not retheme the hamlet, but fully immerse guests. Have themed shops (more themed at that), have actors along the pathway. It would be everything we have been asking for in regards to path actors.

Yes. And though the buildings in England do look kinda strange at the moment, maybe they will work better at night. None of ya has seen this stuff in the dark yet have you? Even the Snuggle bear could look wicked at night...

I think that's the only time he mentioned scares at all within the terror-tories.

You'll be happy to know that Big Ben's facade (in addition to a few others) has been cut completely. There's simply no money.

I absolutely LOVE these things! Too bad I have a cat and a little girl. It probably wouldn't last very long in my place. Of course I'm startin' to have old-man moments too. Maybe as a gift...hint hint.

I am reserving judgement on this structure until opening day/night. My first impression was bottleneck. Hopefully it won't be too bad in that regard. The color choice is strange. But I am assuming that the structure is incomplete.
Seeing it from this side makes the illusion of the facade fail. It needs walls to make it more complete. It is a shame though that a very cool set of street lanterns is being covered up.

Oh man that really does look like a huge bottleneck. I hope it doesn't end up causing too much of a problem.

and I really hope that isn't finished, considering most people are leaving by the time they get to England during Howl-o-Scream.

Also those eye roses are gorgeous, and I want them all. I'm glad they finally made something related to them to sell. But, I'll just continue to make my own stuff anyways.
