Their event the past few years has had lower numbers correct? With the new head of SF he could have changed the plan to something he is more familiar with. BGW usually wouldnt be until the first of Sept until anything is really announced. With the two additional weekends however I DO feel that it ought be sooner.

This is new management's first year running fright fest, last year everything was pretty much decided once the buyout was finished.

I for one am excited for the early start. I always go twice anyway, once to get everything done without having to wait in a 2 hour + line, and once for the "experience". I would imagine the 14th will be really dead in the park anyway- going to be a great day to go as long as it doesn't rain like opening day last year.

As far as attractions, I really wish they would extend Grin+ScareIt and Unleashed. Both of them really could be amazing SZs if they didn't try to rush you through them.

Since there's a good possibility that the new house won't be Alone-style (Zach's post a few pages back), I'm curious as to the theme. Would they resurrect Hunted? Maybe go with a Black Forest theme? Extend Stichin Time into a house? Something else we haven't even thought of?

This is my first post on BGWFans, I have been reading through this thread and I am so excited about Howl-o-Scream this year!

I have been to the 1 in Tampa for 3 years, I tried to get up to BGW, but the park was over the capacity :(

@redsoxfan787 thanks for the heads up, I will do that this year last year it was massively crowded, I guess that's a good thing for Business and a bad thing for finger room :) haha LOL

No problem, and yeah Saturday's are insane! I don't even bother trying anymore. And yeah that's true :) lol

Fear Fair appears to have started work already, the brown coverings are off and the red and white stripped tents are visible very clearly.

I like how the red and white colors look faded, last year they looked bright and too new.
