RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

What about Bitten? And I would think werewolves are returning as a scare zone. Also thought we figured out all the shows, Jack is Back, Dig It Up, Fiends, and more hopefully?

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

Shh, don't tell anyone, but Bitten is returning- just isn't on the list yet. ;)

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I'll put it this way because I know some people came out particularly strong with rumors of an Alone-style attraction making its way to Williamsburg: Recently, I have heard nothing to saying we're getting one. Is that to say we aren't? No, but at this point, from what I've been told, I don't see it happening- not this year.

I'm just going to jump off the deep end and say Ravens for England as a hamlet theme. It's always Ravens. Always.

It's only been ravens for the last two seasons... for quite a few years it was pirate skeletons.

Scotland had ravens and scarecrows which proved to be very successful. I prefer the living statues in England, they were the best!! Like if they stood still enough they wouldn't scare kids but they make one move and they creep out everyone. It was a perfect scare zone for kids and the older crowd.

The old Salty Dog Cemetery (name?) was one of my favorite attractions, speaking of the Pirate theme. I also liked the ghost Highlanders in Scotland -- didn't they only use them like one season? Not predicting for this season, just commenting on what I've really liked in the past.

But I am ready for fall and HOS! I try not to get psyched about it months and months in advance, but I want this heat to be over! Still a ways to go though ...

I wasn't fond of the Highlanders Ghosts. I felt they were just there and taunting you. They didn't really pop out at you or creep you out, but big guys in white make up taunting you.
