RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

And that automatically gives them the right to being called mature? I'd love to see where using profanity and sexual comments with the subtlety of a carpet bombing earns someone the rep of being mature.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

The only age I could see fit or reasonable is 16. Generally most 17 year olds are just as mature or immature as an 18 year old. I think 14 is just too hard to regulate.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

Mature = Anyone who can handle being exposed to sexual content without giggling or making crude jokes and understands about the nature of sexual behavior.

Adult = Anyone 18 or older

Elder = Anyone who is older than 18.

I think those definitions are appropriate and should be considered when using such words.

has anyone heard anything about this age restriction on fiends besides two random people on Facebook?

No one yet, remember most things we know are rumors, but new ones pop up all the time.

What I'm trying to get across is that 14 year olds understand the references made in Fiends. I guess Mature wasn't the right word to use. Anyone know a word to describe people who aren't mature but understand mature references?

How about we let Merriam-Webster define them for us;

Adult[/b]-noun] : one that is adult; especially : a human being after an age (as 21) specified by law Source

Elder[/b]-noun] 1 : one living in an earlier period 2 a : one who is older : senior <a child trying to please her elders> b : an aged person 3 : one having authority by virtue of age and experience <the village elders> Source

Mature[/b]-adjective] 1 : based on slow careful consideration <a mature judgment> 2 a (1) : having completed natural growth and development : ripe (2) : having undergone maturation b : having attained a final or desired state <mature wine> c : having achieved a low but stable growth rate <paper is a mature industry> d : of, relating to, or being an older adult : elderly <airline discounts for mature travelers> 3 a : of or relating to a condition of full development b : characteristic of or suitable to a mature individual <mature outlook> <a show with mature content> Source

What exactly is in Fiends to put a age limit on it? Are the trying to make it like the Rockey Horror Picture Show at HHN?:huh:

Sorry, what is Bolt Bar? Never heard or seen anything as such?

The small bar next to Verbolten and the pretzel shop. It has been staffed by the beer maidens for most of the season. I'm thinking Open Casket will have a similar setup but be themed to the rest of the hamlet.
