When u first walk in catacombs like about 40ft into it their is this part that is 2 places to walk, like one is straight and the other one goes like down hill... Is that for the actors??

Oh my gosh.
Somebody just complained on the Busch Gardens facebook page, in the discussion area, that somebody in the chainsaw section was "threatening" their nine year old daughter.
Wow, some people can just take things a weeee bit too seriously!

I call BS on that whole story BTW.

If you notice in this tale, the parent's didn't actually witness this. They never claim to. So this story was seen through the eyes of the 9 year old daughter, her teenage sister, and the sister's boyfriend. People are pretty dopey.

(sorry for the mega-derail)

yes, If you're kid can't handle being scared don't let them walk alone in the park or better yet, take them home.

I mean they only have warnings playing throughout the entire day in the WHOLE PARK. ... someone wants something for free obviously

"I have encountered very rude and non-customer friendly employees of yours in the past few days and I do not appreciate it at all. My family and I were at the park on Saturday evening and my 9 year old daughter was threatened by one of your HOS cast members. Then when I posted for other parents to beware of this cast member in France I was called names by another self confessed employee. I work for a business that relies on good customer relations and know and understand that without paying customers, guests, members, whatever you want to call them, I would not have a job. My daughter felt that her life was in danger because of the actions of this cast member. I know and understand that "The scare is everywhere" but once you have obviously scared the patron then move on to another. After talking with a few friends I have learned that my daughter does not seem to be the only victim of this cast member, and it seems that through observation this cast member seems to pick on the children that are of their teen years or younger. I know and understand that you broadcast warnings that families with young children should be advised to leave at 6pm. My children are older, and had no problem with the scares that they got from other cast members. This particular one chased my daughter into the store that does the wooden name signs, to the point she went behind the counter, that is meant for employees only. I am sure that your insurance carrier would like to know that your employees are conducting themselves with absolute no thought to your guests safety and well-being. I know of 3 other children that he did the same thing to. She felt that if he got close enough to her that he was going to hurt her. She knows that they are not suppose to touch her, and that they are just regular people, BUT she also knows that there are bad people out there that will play nice just to gain trust and they will hurt her. My other daughter that was with her, and her boyfriend repeatedly told this cast member to stop, that he has succeeded in scaring her and to move on but he would not. It seems to me that he went way beyond scare, he was threatening her, and that could result in criminal charges. You have signs posted that your patrons are not to touch the cast members because they could be criminally charged, well he did not touch her, but threats are illegal also. I called today and left a message for someone to return my call, and have not gotten one as of yet. I will tell you this, I will either get a call with an acceptable response as to what actions will be taken to make sure that this employee does not behave this way again, or I will do what I have to do to make sure that the general public knows exactly what kind of business that you are running there. I am sure that the news stations would like a story like this."

Edit: Dream Out Loud beat me.

It is pretty funny though, the nerve of some people.

That really sounds nothing out of the ordinary for any park that is more intense... The video I posted in the other thread shows a scare actor chasing some guy until the guy jumps in a shop window...

This crap really ticks me off. Her arguement contradicts itself numerous times. First of all "My children are older, and had no problem with the scares that they got from other cast members." really?? That's ironic since your daughter got scared by a fake chainsaw, which to my understanding actually doesn't have a chain connected to it. Second, if you work in a company which prides itself on customer service, you DONT attack a completely different company on customer service because they did their job. What ever happened to the Golden Mean?? Third, you repeatedly state that the park constantly reminds its patrons that the scareactors will not touch you. SO WHAT DID HE DO WRONG? Oh yea, he did his job. Fourth, criminally charged?? Really!? The point of this event is for a patron to feel scared, possibly in danger, but none of it is real. Oh and the whole "sue the park for everything its worth" viewpoint, the woman didn't have to PAY to get in this park. She could have easily made other plans. No one forced you to come into the park.

This woman is what is wrong with the world. Get off your high pedestal. In all honesty, and I'm sure she'll decline to admit it, if she had seen it, she probably would have thought it was funny, and would have reassured her daughter that it was FAKE. She, the parent, needs to grow up.

I've got a ton of additional opinions on this ludicrous subject, but I'll save them for tomorrow when I have a clearer mind.
