A couple of non-spoiler shots from Howl-O-Scream. Yes, I know the really cool lit up sign is sideways. :D The dragon is from the entrance to Cavern of Darkness. not really a spoiler. Just an awesome looking dragon.

Speaking of that dragon, I thought it was a little weird that it was there. There's really nothing else having to do with dragons in that maze. Maybe I'm grasping here, but could it be possible that this is scenery for theming for a new attraction that was just put out there so there would be more than just potted plants out front? (Perhaps a dragon themed ride in a new country?)

Thank you, Swiftman. :) I could actually do it myself, but I was being lazy. :p

Chris, I have to agree that it seemed so out of place. You have a point, and it very well could be from a new ride, which would be totally awesome! We already have three other mythical creature coasters... dragon fits well. :)

Plus it draws from the old story that has become a theme park legend, Drachen Fire.

As I recall there wasn't a lot of theming over there really. It was pretty much just the building and the small shop that's still over there. I'm hoping that the next attraction to go in will go back to the great theming that you see in the Loch Ness queue and even at Alpengeist.

If anyone was in Masquerage last year, how scary is Catacombs compared to it? (I'm a big chicken):s..... also what was Cursed like?

I'd say that Catacombs has the best scare to size ratio this year. The theming is great and there's quite a few spots and little surprises you don't expect.

You should definitely go through it, the theming work they've done is not to be missed.

Cursed is a lot like Wicked Woods was, it's long, not too scary, but you will get wet during one part of the maze.

How wet do you get going through Cursed? Like drenched RR style or spritzed?

There's mist and sporadic drops of water. You won't get soaked.

Thanks for that commerical, if you didnt post it I never would have seen it ever.

By the way, are the little "Fast Pass" things that have you skip the line worth it?

I'm sure the number of people will increase as it gets closer to Halloween, but last weekend (at least Friday and Sunday), there were no lines. The longest wait was for Bitten/Hunted/Harvest Hollow and it took less than five minutes to get into Bitten. I'd say the quick queue will likely not be needed until late October.
