Wow, that is the fastest I've ever seen the cows move.
I was speaking with the animal handlers/trainers on Friday night. They said they hoped to bring the cattle into the larger compound on occasion to get them more room to move. Most likely next year. I was surprised to learn the cattle are still juveniles. They said they can get to be 800-1000 pounds as heavy as a Clydesdale.
Haha, you all thought I was making a joke. I'm actually very serious, things continue to deteriorate by the second, so it seems.

I really hope they don't go. Of course, I want all of the long-time staples to stay, but I hope the majority of the animals in Highland Stables stay also. They have really made Scotland a true hamlet. It is educational and engaging. It also gives guests a reason to be in that area other than passing through, or to ride Loch Ness Monster.
