However, I liked hearing the "soundtrack" on the Celtic Dyne videos in the ride queues. It is just such cool music. This wouldn't be so much the traditional live tunes they do with instruments. This would be the music written for the show. Like the one used in the last dance sequence of the show.
Doesn't hurt to ask, right?
Unless you could persuade Gary Lensenmayer or Colm Ó Foghlú (the composers) to email you the music, there is no other way I know of.
Thanks COS. I know how copyright and licensing works, but thought I'd ask. With a Lady of the Gardens mp3 floating around and things like Illuminights CDs, I thought I'd at least ask.
(Hint to BGW: It's something I would buy if sold at the park instead of all those commercial CDs in Emerald Isle).

I think I can shed some light on this situation. As I am sure you're aware, the Celtic Fyre track is a BGW arrangement of many previously existing songs. While I don't have the actually backing tracks they use in CF, I have been able to figure out the songs they use. Enjoy:
Celtic Fyre Skeleton
Steven Pasquale, from A Man Of No Importance - The Streets of Dublin
Celtic Women - I Am The Voice (There are loads of versions of this song, this is my favorite)
Malarkey Brothers - Finnegan's Wake (Same as above, just my favorite version)
The High Kings - The Parting Glass (Ditto)
Hope this helps!

PR, I think it's more up to the ones who actually own Peanuts, not Cedar Fair or KD.
Matthew said:No, if they pay the royalties to Peanuts, they will be fine, no one else has the right to pursue legal action except the company itself, Peanuts. Cedar fair bought the rights to use the peanuts theme in the park, they didn't buy Peanuts itself, like BG paid to play the Peanuts song in LOD.
