I recently went to Busch and while in Italy, near the Flying machine and Battering ram, I heared a song that sounded VERY MUCH like Josh Groban, but I don't believe it's him...It sounds like a very familiar song to classical music folk, which I am not one of. Anyone know anything?

I am almost positive you heard this song during the hours of Illuminights. That song played I am not sure of it's name or origin; what I do know is that song is only played between 5:00PM and 10:00PM as part of the music switchover for Illuminights.

Just to note, many members have a strong distaste for the Euro-pop and Jazz played in the park for Illuminights; however I think that is one of the very few non-Euro-Pop songs in the park for Illuminights and I think most people around the forums would agree it fits Italy very nicely.

Just to note, I think it is very interesting how Busch Gardens is playing Disney's music. However I must say I think The Odd Life of Timothy Green fits perfectly with the Busch Gardens brand almost perfectly.

Why is all the music so freaking loud! I feel like I'm constantly yelling there now. It used to just be peaceful background noise, but now you can barely talk over it. Me and all the people i went with last time agreed. They need to turn it down a bit!

SO loud! Agreed. My entire family thought the same thing. As we walked through the park in a few spots we couldn't hear each other speak.

I stumbled upon this site (awesome by the way) looking for the music currently played in France (awesome thread too by the way). I know it's probably Euro-pop but I had the funniest experience with my daughter and this song in BGW last week, and I want to get it for her. It's the music that's played near (and in) the France bathrooms, next to the alley by Trappers Smokehouse. There is one peppy and funny sounding song... female vocals, I have no idea who it could be and I wish that I had thought at the time to use Shazam!

I miss Midnight Syndicate during Howl-O-Scream. :( It made BGW seem more classy. The B movie music makes it seem cheap. Midnight Syndicate doesn't charge a licensing fee if the attraction registers with them. So, why not use them anymore? BG use to even sell their CDs during Howl-O-Scream.

Yes. I do believe it was 2011 when I saw those CDs in every shop. I know there are some here who want to avoid Midnight Syndicate, but I enjoy them as well.

It's probably that Celine Dion song. Anyone remember the name?

Ugh, not Celine Dion thankfully. I would have sworn it was Paris Combo but I can't find it amongst their songs, it's very Zsu Bisou Bisou-ish but faster.

We heard it multiple times so I know it's on a reel of tracks of some sort.

Last time I checked they still do, they just have a few Midnight Syndicate songs playing.

I won't be getting back to BG this season, so I can't check this...but does anyone know if any of the German language songs played in the evening are by Linda Hesse?

I don't know for sure, but she sounds very familiar. That being said, in her genre of music, I think almost all singers sound more or less the same. I don't by any means mean this in a disrespectful way though, because of all modern German music, this is my favorite kind. It's still has a sound somewhat reminiscent of Volksmusik, except it's new. I really wish I had a better playlist of the music that they play in the Oktoberfest section, because I agree it is very good music.

Sorry I just caught an error with my post and I edited it so if anyone care take a look at my last post in this thread.

The Official In-Park Music Listening Thread

Do you ever get those days? The days when you're bored, stuck cramped up at home, forced to do nothing but daydream of being somewhere better, like, I don't know... Busch Gardens? Needless to say, I've had too many of these days, wishing and imagining being at the parkSo, in order to cope with the boredom one dreary, rainy Sunday morning at 8 a.m., I hightailed it over to the In-Park Music thread, frantically Googling and Youtube-ing names of that awesome music played throughout the park uncovered by other hard-working Parkfans throughout that thread. Then I realized something: it's a real pain to keep searching and sifting through a ton of songs to find the "real" ones that really sound like the park. Finally, after finding some songs, mainly the upbeat German marches from Oktoberfest (which can really get annoying playing on your computer for too long...) and those eerily spectacular bagpipes played in Heatherdowns, it was pure awesomeness to sit back and relax to the music, feeling like you're there with the sounds, sights, and smells of Busch Gardens. It's not many instances on the internet where you can be at one of the most fantastic places on earth!

Anyway... I decided I'd share my experience with all the other Busch Gardens lovers of the world! Below is a seriously incomplete list of the music played throughout the park I've put together, separated into categories of their specific hamlets, courtesy of music videos scattered throughout Youtube! Now sit back, and enjoy being engulfed into that musical spirit of the park, or whatever you guys would say.

By the way, huge thanks to Shane for finding and posting these originally in the In-Park Music thread! Like Shane said, I think these do a great job going with the new branding that was introduced for the 2013 season, and I think "Love and Be Loved" is particularly exceptional for the feel of the area.

This one above is the same song as the one at Busch Gardens, but has a slower tempo and is played with an accordion(?) at the park.

It's hard to hear the Heatherdowns-y part of the song as the band marches away, but listen closely to the background music at the very beginning of the video. It appears to be a bagpipe version of one of the songs played in Rhinefeld!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yajyAdNlEAQ
Skip forward about thirty seconds or so to get to the music on this one.

I'm no musical genius, but I've come to be aware that bagpipes are extremely difficult to play and have a perfectly uniform tone each time, along with the fact different variations of the song may be played. These are all songs played in Scotland at Busch Gardens, juts in some form or another (for instance, some are played with an accordion).

Killarney[/b]]

Okay, this might be a stretch, but it has uninterrupted audio of the beautiful and sweeping music played during the ride. It should go without saying, but this is all Zachary and BGWFans here. Thanks so much to them! Just listen and enjoy.

I want to give credit to CastleOSullivan, Unagi, Shane, Haberdasher1973, and everyone else who must have spent countless amounts of time crouched next to rock-shaped speakers while their phones Shazammed or Sound Hound-ed away to discover the music played at the park. All I really did was find the actual music to make it easier for everyone else to listen to :p! Thanks so much to you guys! Applause! Applause!

Like I said, and as you all can see, this is a very incomplete list. If you can find any for videos/music online to post here, just post below or PM me so we can have a long list of music to sit back and enjoy from around the park!

:exclamation: This post is currently in Construction Mode. Expect frequent updates! :exclamation:

RE: The Official In-Park Music Listening Thread

Maybe put the artist and/or song name in plain text before the video. Only so I can copy/paste into Google play or iTunes.

I'll work on doing that. I just updated my post with Scotland and am working on Italy, so it shouldn't take too long. Thanks!

RE: The Official In-Park Music Listening Thread

As per Pandora's request, I have added the song titles/artists beneath each song video as I updated the post with San Marco/Pompeii, England ticket area, and Europe in the Air in Killarney, though I'm having trouble finding the rest of the hamlet's music. I'll go back in and add the rest of the titles and keep the post updated with more music.

RE: The Official In-Park Music Listening Thread

Fantastic, CastleOSullivan! Absolutely awesome -- great job. Do you mind if I post it above to make the list more complete, though? This is really neat.

By the way, if you haven't yet, I think CastleOSullivan needs rep between his knowledge of Corkscrew Hill, Ireland, and now this. C'mon, guys!

I know this is a long shot. But, are the Celtic Fyre backing tracks out there anywhere? I love the show with performers. However, I liked hearing the "soundtrack" on the Celtic Dyne videos in the ride queues. It is just such cool music. This wouldn't be so much the traditional live tunes they do with instruments. This would be the music written for the show. Like the one used in the last dance sequence of the show.

Doesn't hurt to ask, right?
